  • Rahm seriously needs to look into succeeding Obama in 2016. Granted he may be a little too crazy hardcore behind closed doors but he can do the job. If he can bump up to Senator or Governor in 2014 he could have a shot. I'd definitely vote for him.

  • Very Education this is what a retired Mossad Killer looks like, you know like the ones who shot 19yr old New York Born Furkan Dogan 4 times in the face at a range of 45cm, True Son of Child Killing SHITAREL!

  • Rahm's so tough is coward ass resigned! When the heat to hot get out of the kitchen!

  • Rahm Emanuel is a Bolshewik mole.

  • you delusional like the rest of your party..LMAO!

  • 8:25, Rahmbo, brings out the big guns, and I love every minute of watching this right wing shill back peddle and fall on his butt !

  • love Rahm Emanuel he kicks ass GOP on the run

  • I just love watching Rahm's face before he's about to correct someone-NOT someone you want to have on the other side of your issue! I LOVE this man.

  • Ah hindsight. "Continue to see prosperity in the economy......the fundamentals of the Economy are sound because of the Republican Party".....Yeah right.

  • 2:36 I love Rahm-bo's face. The very professional SOB.

  • I love his face too. His is a hotty.

  • His a hotty. Youws a wetard.

  • "I'm in the business of effecting races not predicting them."

    I love this man.

  • This shows why the Democrats beat the Republicans any day. Unlike the Republicans, who only defend their arguments with vitriol and attacks on their opponents' patriotism, the Democrats are able to support their positions with clear, indisputible FACT! Not to mention civility. Heck, Emanuel says it himself!

"Let's go through the facts, right here."

  • Hey buddy how are your dummycrats doing now?

  • @nimitz1983 They're doing quite well asshat. Republicans have lost both the House and Senate, the Oval Office and now have delusions of grandeur for 2010. Enjoy political wilderness.

  • Yeah we'll see what happens to that majority in the congress with this coming election. You democrats have done nothing on your promises and the only "progress" that they've achieved is run up the debt and desecrate the sanctity of our once great democracy, by introducing socialist ideals to the uneducated masses. People like you made a huge mistake electing these morons into office! Make no mistake I'm not patting Bush on the back either. But unlike you i can see the greater evil.

  • @nimitz1983 Ahh, more delusions from the teabag conservatives. Did you really think cleaning up a mess left behind by Republicans was going to take less than a year? Wow, no wonder people think teabaggers are idiots. You really think the public is stupid enough to vote back Republicans into office? ROTFL!!! But please, keep dreaming of winning back the House and Senate. We need a good laugh. Also please get back on your medication bc you need it.

  • @rakrobn

You are right! Obama has to clean up the mess he inherited from Bush.

And just like Obama inherited the problems in the first year.

I know that in the first year of Bush's term, the WTC got blown up, so, thinking in those terms, Clinton and Gore are to blame for the WTC planes.

    thanks very much

  • the republicans make me sick to my stomach

  • you have a working brain

  • Both sides of the aisle have covered up pedophilic sexual deviance for decades! Barney Frank ran a underage gay call service out of his house! Watch CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE. research the gay escort JEFF GANNON (aka. JOHNNY GOSCH) Karl "Turdblossom" Rove got him a W.H. press pass. Rove also got Matt "dirty" Sanchez regular spots on Fox News as a GOP spokesman. Obama has re-placed Slick willie Clinton's admin. team. Emanuel will destroy the 2nd. Amend. When U.S. wakes up... Martial law is next.
  • u b clown' in too much. u a clown

  • meh this is such typical political spin nonsense.. This is why no one bothers with politics... all hot air. Rahm was better but frankly, does it really matter?

  • Rahm Emanuel is a extraordinary human being and politician as well. I do not care if he is Jewish or not. We need more politician like him in Washington.

    Semper Fidelis

  • you're a shit-tard

  • Rahm's got such a calm, strong, "I'm going to kick your ass and your not even going know what happened" kind of energy about him. Love it!

  • Bingo....Rambo and bulldog for the democratic party if we ever needed one, and perfect for obamas administartion!

  • I can't believe all the idiots who gave you a thumbs down on that. It's sad how media brainwashed many Americans are!

  • im sure some people who agree would give thumbs down. i do it sometimes when the person uses inappropriate, immature phrases that are vulgar.

for instance, zionist cocksucker is a poor way of voicing an opinion.

If Watthiman had given a logical, reasonable argument that didnt resort to obscene and vulgar words, i think less people would have given him thumbs down.

  • first few minutes rahm is like 'im gona whi[ yo ass'

  • [7:40] our fundamentals of our economy are strong LOL this Republican guy is delusional

  • "you were gonna change washington, washington changed you" slam! i love rahm.

  • I don't really like how much he tries to touch Putman when he gets interrupted...

  • Why read a book when I can read your bullshit on YouTube.

  • ahhhh, Right Wing Propaganda at its finest!! yay for stupid conservatives.....

  • [insert obligatory 'I'd like to be chief of his staff!!!!11' pun here']

  • 2:31 pwning him

  • The freeze & fade out at the end of this is FANTASTIC.

  • This man will get things done. And may I innocently add that he is very sexy and nice looking

  • the republican actually said 'the fundamentals of our economy are strong'

  • Ok so some people are saying the choice of appointing Emanuel is the same as a Bush appointment?? I dont agree with everything Emanuel says, but I see his appointment as chief of staff as a clear opposite of what G.W. Bush would do. Bush was not into choosing people who had differing opinions than him for starters(dont ya wish he did in those early days?). This guy is a good compliment to Obama.

  • I disagree. Bush (well, it was really Cheney, wasn't it?) appointed people like Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, all of whom have long advocated US military intervention in the Middle East, without provocation (ref: A Clean Break, Walt + Mearsheimer's The Israel Lobby). Bush himself, in 2000, ran on a non-interventionist foreign policy platform, and was actually chastized by certain Gore people for being too nativistic, uncaring about the world, etc.

    watch?v=F9SOVzMV2bc

  • Try my 2nd comment again -- the point is, Bush was clearly out of his depth in many areas, especially foreign policy. He didn't just appoint people who agreed with his desire to bomb the ME -- based on his campaign rhetoric, he had no such desire. WIth Cheney's influence he appointed destructive warmongers who believed in exactly the opposite of what his campaign promised -- actually, in the same way that Obama has almost uniformly selected Iraq War supporters as his closest advisors.

  • MY GOD Rahm Emanuel is sexy

  • i thought i was the only one, he looks so good

  • 9:37... most adorable laugh ever

  • Rahm has good style. Cool guy

  • Foley was a dirty old man.

  • See 10:23 "The 1993 tax cuts that have unleashed the economic power of this country"

    HA!

  • Two crooks in a cradle

  • whoa calm the rhetoric a little bit. it will be ok..

  • what the fuck are you talking about? So what if emanuel is jewish? he's a smart man. that's it.

  • That is not it, he is not only Jewish, I didn't just say that, don't point that out without pointing the other stuff out.

  • i agree mahoogin.

  • America chose Obama. Move on.

  • How did you find out?!

  • do you understand what severing our ties to Israel would do? I'm a jew, but i'm neutral on the fighting. I think its pretty ridiculous what the israeli military does to the palestinians every day but that aside, it would be a DISASTER if we abandoned Israel. The world would hate us. It would just be awful for the US's image. Also, Emanuel's dad was a PEDIATRICIAN. in the 40's, he was a soldier but that's because in israel, everyone has to go to the military. don't you dare call him a terrorist

  • What disaster would it be if Israel is left independent? No one would touch Israel, they have tons of nuclear bombs, they have many industries, they can survive alone.

BUT they can't keep expanding and stealing more, that is for sure, because the USA-Israel ties are about that, about them being in the government to steal money from the tax payers to make their wars. Come on, don't be naive, if you understand IDF's terrorism you can also understand this.

  • Im glad open minded people like yourself exist

  • There was no mandatory national service at the time his father was in Irgun. I frankly don't judge him on this affiliation, but just think of the double standard. What if Obama had selected the son of a Hamas or Hezbollah operative?

Besides that, whatever his lineage, Emanuel himself was a supporter of the Iraq War (even defending it two years later on Russert), and as chair of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, he opposed antiwar democrats for the 06 election. counterpunch Emanuel

  • Actually, thank you fo the information. I didn't know that stuff.

And regarding his support of the Iraq War, it sucks, yeah. But Obama was literally the ONLY senator that opposed it. You could say the same about every single person in the senate. But, still defending it in 06? thats kind of bullshit.

But all the affiliations aside, I stick with my point. He's a smart guy and he's not just a crony. To me, that's all that really matters.

  • Well, I guess we'll have to hope so, but I hope people who tend to be pro-Obama retain a critical dispassion about the guy and his admin, and will stand against any militarist undertaking (say Iran). Bush ran on a non-interventionist, small govt platform in 2000 and turned into one of the most interventionist, big govt politicians in history -- IMO, largely because of the staff/advisors he'd surrounded himself with. Obama looks to be making the same mistake. Regards.

  • And I think the image of America would drastically improve if the state stopped supporting Israel. If individuals and private companies wish to continue doing business with them, fine, but no state aid, and no US rhetorical support (in UN or other international forums). A country that has as many nuclear weapons as France or the UK doesn't need any outside help. Just one of their warheads could kills tens of millions. They should be happy with the land and power they have, and leave it at that.

  • If they want $4000 for college, why not?

  • LOL "The fundementals of the economy are strong" hehehe where have I heard that before?

  • Love Rahm! Have nothing against the guy. I think he's great. We don't need a softy in the Obama administration. He was an excellent choice for the job. Obama picks wisely.

  • Hi Alize101586,

Foley issue is tragic and it goes further then this. They are avoiding even touching among political and other intents with the scandal, if you notice Emanuel's control of the conversation here... Just amazing very arousing he uses Propaganda at its best... hmmm yummy

  • A stand-up guy indeed. After all, he showed his bipartisan chops by supporting the Iraq War in 2002 (when all 9 other members of the Illinois congressional delegation voted no). And two and a half years later, he went on Tim Russert's show and defended that vote, saying that he would have supported ousting Saddam even if there HADN'T been any WMD.

Now that's CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN! YES WE CAN!!

  • Oh but yes, Obama has done well for himself. :)

It's particularly prophetic when one realizes the outcome that Rahm ushered in that November and all these same things are issues we're talking about 2 years later.

  • Wow, I can see why Obama selected Emanuel... he's a stand up guy.

  • Hah. He cleaned his clock.

  • omg.. does anyone else find this guy sexy as hell?!? something about tough guys make me weak....

    Great choice Bam!!!

  • absolutely agree! lol i'm glad i'm not the only one... my friends think it's weird that i find him very attractive.

  • Hindsight...man, was Putman ever wrong!!

  • Of course Putman was wrong, all the republicans do is lie. lol

  • Most republicans and some Dems criticized Pres. Elect Obama's choice of Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff but now I see it's because he's clear, concise and unwavering in his convictions.

Another excellent choice, Pres. Elect Obama! First Axelrod (whom Paul Begala said could "whip Rove's butt" - and he did), the David Plouffe, then Biden, now Rahm-bo.

    Let's get ready to Rahm-bo!

  • some dems have criticized the Rahm pick but I can see why Obama would want him on his side. I'd like to see friendly bipartisanship as much as anyone but if I had to pick between being nice and getting things done, I'd pick the latter. I think I like this guy :)

  • Wow, they weren't kidding when they said this guy was a fighter...he'll be an excellent bad-cop.

  • rahm-bo is i good pick. he speaks his mind, bluntly perhaps, but that is indeed a tremendous change from the prior 8 years.

  • I love this choice by Obama. Emanuel is an attack dog, look at how he says what he needs to say and even the opponent listens to him.

    Obama great choice

now either choose Richardson or Collin for Secretary of State not Kerry! let Kerry stay in the senate

  • I think that Rahm is a respectable choice. Simple speach, good content, and passionate about what he knows to be true. I don't see a problem here at all. Of course he might come off as a jerk some times, but hey, when you are dealing with rediculous situations and lies it can be somewhat irritating. I love when he says "and all you've got is fear." Oh how true it is.

  • What a great choice for Obama's White House Cheif of Staff. Rahm is the man!

  • This Rahm Emanuel seems to be a bit of an asshole.

  • I agree, but that's what I love about this guy...you need to be a asshole...that's why he's the perfect gatekeeper as Chief of Staff to THIS President.

  • Here's to hoping. ;)

  • O.O Omg...and he's the chief of staff for Obama's cabinet?

=] go Dems! lol this is starting to become a sexy cabinet.

  • Yes, he completely let Putnam have it. Loved it.

PS. On a lighter note, doesn't he look a little bit like Robert Downey Jr.?

  • Yes he does! The same look in their eyes too. RAWR.

  • I SOOOO agree! and he's the Chief of staff... the gatekeeper.

  • "you said you'd change Washington but Washington changed you" awsome line Rahm eManuel

seems very intelligent good choice for the chief of staff

  • He affected the race and I pray he accept Executive Office. AWESOME!!!

  • It's a really bad idea to bring up the Lewinsky affair in front of Rahm Emanuel. He looked like he was ready to attack Reynolds at that point. And, of course Stephanopoulos knew about the affair. It's probably one of the reasons he left. Anyways, Rahm Emanuel is the man!

  • he's kinda cute too ...have you seen his finger...it got cut off a long time ago when he worked for arby's..lol..he's so adorable

  • Yeah, I sort of have a crush on his intense craziness.

  • Dems won so i guess Rahm Emanuel was right.

  • had anyone ever notice that adam putnim hair is the same color as a peach.

  • Best line... "I'm in the business of affecting races not predicting them"

  • I see through this now.Democrats would reelect a pervert(Studds) Republicans would not(Foley). Thanks

  • I hope no one thinks too negatively of Putnam from this. He's having to bat clean up from one really bad mess for his party. What's worse is he's not a debate guy like the democrat here. As a voter from his district, I have to say that Putnam overall serves the district repsectfully and enjoys a strong popularity. He's more or less a stright up conservative, but nothing over the top or crazy.

  • Reynolds is a liar as is Putnam... Look forward to the day he (Putnam) is gone gone gonzo!

  • It now comes out he and his office knew in 2005. Like all politicans, he is a lying sack of shit. Guess that is required. Both Republicans and Democrats suck with regard to the pages.

  • Wise up, the GOP is "in breech of contract" and is the sole reason that America has lost all its credibillity world wide. Republicans are getting richer as we real Americans are getting our power cut off. Impeach BUSH.

P.S. Some Say we should "Spread Democracy" to America before we bring it to Iraq. What happened to Majority rule?

  • Ok but Pelosi,Reid,Clinton etc etc are getting filthy rich too. It all stinks.

  • Although of course the Republicans did not win in 2006, I believe they will retake the House and the Senate in 2008.

Adam Putnam is an admirable man! He's the second youngest congressman (he's 32 years old), and after being elected to just three terms to the House of Representatives, he's already one of the top-ranking House Republicans.

Putnam for President in 2016, definitely. He is the man.

  • Good analogy with the teacher/student/principle setup

  • DOPE.

  • Wow. No wonder that other dude backed out...this is a no win situation for the Republican. Also, Rahm Emmanual is awesome!

  • "It was blocked by the minority."

That strikes me as complete bullshit..

Majority doesn't need minority to vote with them. -_-

    That's kinda the whole purpose.
