Aprilia was smart to put in derbi engines in their new RS's because the AM6's were very nice to tune but the gearbox was rubbish, always problems with 4th and 5th gear!

@astadocil Hehe, I have to say it, but the engines on the rs from 2007 is derbi engines, altso the bodyparts, if u look on the inside of the bodypart, u will see a 'Derbi' :)

The new Aprilia's (2006+) have Derbi Engines. The older models have Am6 or even Am5

Beats my mates RS50. He even has a arrow exhaust. Im fully stock *except derestriction*.

wahey! Aprilia RS50 FTW! Theyr quick little bikes..i raced a honda CBR125 on mine the other day and it whooped it lol. The derbi bikes are nice...just far too expensive

The aprilia is a rapid, elegant and comfortable motorcycle, (the derbi is very small) already it would not even like to any derbi new or old GPR to seem to the RS

the 50 in both GPR and RS stand for the amount of cc the carburator delivers to the engine -.-'. (thats it in stock version and here he gave all tuned specs... so OFFCOURSE its a 50 cc bike -.-')
