@hllbrngr1220 worng, int eh latest version of the mod, obsidians blast resistance was nerfed so that hte best material to use for shelters is reinforced stone and reinforced glass.

@zeropositivo1990 i have taken the industrial craft reinforced crap glass and stone and the industrail craft nuke i tested it vs the obsidian after the nuke only the obsidian survived the blast

@zeropositivo1990 In Industrialcraft 2, Obsidian is nerfed, so only Reinforced Stone is worth plating a reactor with.

I'd say 1-2 layers will keep the explosion relatively contained.

@artman40 especially since its the only thing that has an explosion resistance of like 50000 or sumting like that.... it says that on minepedia

@artman40 Yes. It's completely untouched by the explosion. Reinforced stone gets knocked out of place, but everything else stays safe.
