  • you cheated mate, you didn't look at the bottom of the cube when it was in your hands so how could you memorize it. set up. happy fucking new years!!!!

  • @zerooftheworld Not that this comment dignifies a response, but I clearly did at least 3 times that I could count on first watch through...

  • @MrMuhammad11 Why would I memorize it more than once? That would be a waste of time.

  • what a pro.

  • not bad

  • W H A T? I CAN'T Even Ponder WHY to ask you anything. HUGH? Sick, Just Awesome SICK Craig Bouchard

  • beast, it takeing me 10 minutes to memorize and 11 minutes to solve

  • All I do is just match 3 lines of one color up. I can`t even solve 2 sides only 1.

  • You don't really solve them by sides actually.

  • I know you have to make a cross.

  • no he means that you solve it by levels. the first step is making a cross on one side, lik you said, but the rest is solving it by level 1, 2, and then 3

  • not in blindfolding

  • can onyl do it with looking

  • OMG, i cant even do one side, you SOOO good!!!

  • you are good

  • pimpin pink pants

  • what method?

  • Pochmann, old school, T perm and Y perm, with some Js...

  • can you make a tutorial?

  • Probably not. I'm not into cubing much anymore, and it would take a lot of explanation. I am also a VERY bad teacher. There are guides on the internet though, and probably tutorial videos out there...

  • thats weird, normally people do the orientation and corners first

  • It is a different and slower method...

  • Damnit im sad >_> I have a brand new cube...and I cant get it apart T-T I wanna lube it up so i can improve my time. Right now its at 2:24...

  • i thought that you had to count the time as you were remembering the places. don't you?

  • And that I did. I start the timer when I first pick up the cube...And the 1:40 is memo and execution...

  • oh okay then thats really close to the record that kicks ass

  • Not really...the record is about half of that...

  • oh what lubercants do you use and where can i get them

  • I use motomaster Silicone Lube, available at Canadian Tire and I'm not sure where else...

  • That's Jason's lube, right? :P

  • Yeah, he uses the same stuff. Actually, I have his old can here at my house (If you mean Jason Thong) He left it at the Toronto Open...

  • Well, free lube is free lube. How long does it take to kick in? This is Jai , btw.

  • good work man. you inspire me to work on blindsolving. i'm going to go practice now :P

    --david pritts

  • How did you know it was done????!!!

  • xD very cool, and i don't think he's cheating at all, he just practices a lot xD

  • is this pochmanns m2 r2 method?

  • no, much older video

  • WOW.. This is what i hate about novices/NOOBS... they say the rubik's cube has BRAIL or the person is PEEKING.. this is UNTRUE. just GOOGLE how to solve a rubik's cube blindfolded OR W/E!! it CAN be done. and even 'I' can do it (just not as fast)

  • dude the brail was a joke, i totally believe you and have seen other people do it on youtube. i am mocking the retards taht are saying fake ! haha gj

  • BRAIL ON THE CUBE

  • Oh yah, you caught me, that is how I do it. God no, you moron. God skeptics piss me off...if you have MSN I will do this live on webcam for you, probably not this fast anymore, but still do it.

  • hey Craig, what method was this?

  • Pochmann

  • huh?????

  • Wow whats funny is that I'm not going to say anything. The fact is is that he solved it blindfolded, legitimately. Edges to corners, but he did it.

  • ok i can solve it "looking" in under five min and if you can play with it anuff and start with yourself knowing where the pieces are it possable and he did it fast!!nice..

  • he can see through the blindfold hes looking down at the cube the whole time!!! HA!

  • No he's not, he's not looking, whatever you say or do, solving blindfolded is really possible, and not too hard. go to the guide at pjkcubedDOTcom

    see what you can do.

  • Wow you're like Tyson Mao... amazing. I can't even move my hands that fast.

  • hmmm... pretty impressive if you ask me. You seem to be rather popular maybe even FAMOUS !!!

does that mean im famous too ?

  • Who are you?

  • the following error is given on the Discovery Channel Daily Planet website:

SORRY! You can't play the CTV Broadband Channel videos in your country.

  • I can try and upload the copy I have...I'll let you know what I can do...

  • Please answer me!

  • How can I play the video if I'm in the U.S.?

  • Same way. Its on the internet, and the internet is international...

  • But it says that I can't watch it because I'm in a different country. Could you upload it here please?

  • I'll see what I can do man...

  • Thanks, Craig!

  • Craig, where can I find a video of you on Discovery? I'd really like to see all the information about you.

  • Go to google, type "Discovery Channel Daily Planet" then click on the first link, then search rubik in the top right corner. I am the video with the really bright stickers.

  • im in australia. sorry =] but i do believe u!

  • um i kinda didnt believe you before but then i saw you memorise the whole thing first which was pretty cool..you must be pretty intelligent. either that or your blindfold is seethrough hahaha. nah kid i admire u, but it does seem just a little alien like. its a shame in a lot of your comments people are dissing you even thought u might actually have talent!

  • If you don't believe this, and you are in Canada, watch the Discovery Channel on Tuesday, May 15th between 7 and 8 to see a segment of me...

  • wow he is so cute!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha, Thanks. Don't let my girlfriend see that...

  • Good Solve. Doees he have a website? If he does can I have the link, if he doesnt he should start one.

  • Mem. is easy l2p nub..

BTW whered you get those eye shades lawl

  • you didnt even do it right. there was a white spot in the yellow. you did u wrong. hahah

  • Where? At the end? No, that's just the lighting...

  • Nice memorization~ I would like to see you do that to a random cube you didn't memorize, though ;)

  • Offcourse he memorised the cube, how else do you want to solve it!? The Rubik's Cube has more combinations then that there are dvd's and cd's all together...

  • It's tomasu. He is the one in the video. Just letting you know.

  • are you the guy in the car commercial who solves the cube blindfolded?

  • Hahaha, my best friend mentioned that commercial, unless it is this video I doubt it is me. Do you know where I could find the video?

  • no freakin clue...which is to say, besides calling up FOX and NBC I have no idea where to start looking. :(

  • i dont understand at all 0.o i cant even solve it with a code... just pull all teh stickers off and put them back on in the right order XD

  • Memorisation wise, Pochmann is easier, can take about the same amount of time, cycles can be faster, and cycles is faster exceution, I wanna swithc :'(

  • Pochmann method, eh? I use cycles instead because I believe that it would take less effort to memorise the cube it and keep it memorised.

  • Awesome man. It was well lit. I would have showed a little bit more though... you picking up the cube and showing that it is solved instead of stopping abruptly. I don't see how ppl can do memo that fast!

  • sort of.thanks.

  • thats not ur personal best! i saw you do 18 secs!

  • Dude, they are 2 completely different categories. This is blindfold. The other is speed blindfold. let me explain the difference. In blindfold, like here, the timer starts when you see the cube, and ends when you think you are done. In speed blindfold you may memorize for as long as you wish, and then the only time that counts is the acutal solving time. Does that clarify things?

  • I noticed a lot of people on youtube solving blindfolded don't show the scrambling part in the videos. I'm just wondering why, because I mean ... why aren't people doubtful the person honestly started memorizing the cube when the video was started?

I guess one would just have to trust them ... either way the video looks cool.

  • You've got to teach me how to memorize that fast Craig!!!

  • Maybe if I posted the time it would help ;) 1:40.49 (not sure if I say it in the video hehe) :D

  • great job!!

  • L F B' U2 D B2 R2 L' F' B2 U2 L2 B2 F L' R U2 B L R2 U' R2 U' B' F2

That is the scramble for the solve. Not "technically" Lucky for my method. About 30 seconds memorisation. I use the Pochmann method. (for blindfold)
