yeah sure, but in my opinion i used a really strong and hard material, so it dowsnt open really good, also because of the messed up line angle,

I have already startet a new parachute project, with perfect material and double size,

so be patient, im gonna do a "My Mini Parachute 2" vid in future, possibly in 1 or 2 months.

i do at my new project, F111 is the material called, the canopy and risers are pretty much ready, everything i need to do is the container and a pilot chute.

due to school and stuff i dont have much time on my hands, but in Dezember i got 3 weeks vacation, so i think im gonna finish it there and upload the vid too

The Rig is the same material only harder

Actually, it should be a imitation of a real parachute, I wanted it really not throw. But someday, I have tested it and it worked.

Thanks for sharing your project, I'm awfully impressed with the thought that went into it. I'm not having much luck finding a sewing pattern for a seven cell ram air parachute and harness. I'd like to work out the specific glide ratios, angle of attack and aspect ratio, and it seems like your understanding of physics is much better than mine. Any ideas?

I also wanted to mention that your command of the English language seems to be better than most of the American commenters on your channel.

@ToddVodka thx :), please check out my channel, i started a tutorial series about mini parachutes ;)

it's all about angle of attack and air resistance, the higher your profile the more air resistance on horizontal axis the slower it flies forward. so you need to increase the angle of attack. and the other way...low profile->less air resistance->more forward speed->less angle of attack.

you basically need to find the perfect rato between angle of attack and profile height
