  • I was there. still get goose bumps!

  • 5:10 GABBA GABBA HEY-THE RAMONES

  • 4:31 only the most obvious undercover ever imagined.

  • they should read No Logo

  • you should rush them 15 cops and beat the shit out of them but than you need to go home . but it would b fun really fun

  • Why didn't the police shoot those people breaking the windows? Or let the property owners shoot them?

  • the body rock stopped probly got caught by the cops nearby somebody got shot

    but the party dont stop

    and the party dont care

its a stick up- thats why we got our hands in the air

    --------blue scholars - 50 000 deep

  • 4:29 Beasty Boys! lol

  • guys. the cops are scared, we just have to push it, we have to stand strong and hold ground. we pay for their equipment, and there are more citizens than cops. The corporations pay for it when you cause property damage. YOU control everything. They are just trying to hide it and make sure you don't know that. If we take a stand things can change, all we have to do is understand how much control we really have over corporations like Nike, or Walmart, etc.

  • Until a short time ago, I agreed with those who would get angry at anarchists causing property damage. But having read about successful labor movements throughout history, the key to each has been the threat -- and often the implementation -- of violence. Cloward and Piven's book _Poor People's Movements_ does a good job at outlining this. (Which explains why the two authors scare the hell out of Glenn Beck, who recently mentioned them on his show.)

Few of us like violence, but violence works.

  • Anarchists really made a change didn't they! "Hey let's shatter windows that'll teach em!" Idiots.

They gave the riot police an excuse to start shooting rubber bullets

  • It went from trying to protest an actual cause to a bunch of kids starting pointless shit and getting the men with the rubber bullets called in

  • The anarchist really put a dent in the corpations pocket that day

  • Of course not lethal weapons... except...

shooting out an eye is also not lethal...!

  • How can people at the protest, disagree with what the activists are doing at 2:26! They're taking direct action for the cause! It is unlogical to be at that protest and against their actions. They're causing economic damage against those companies that profit from exploiting humans, animals and the earth. They are doing the right thing! don't fight them, support them!

  • @FightForTheInnocent And who do you think is going to clean up all that mess? Low wage labor workers that's who. They shattered a window that cost peanuts to replace for these corporations. That's not sticking it to the man you imbecile that's just being idiotic. You don't go around crying anarchy and destroying property like savages that does nothing and proves nothing. Did Martin Luther King Jr tell people to go around destroying white people's property? Your ignorance is pathetic.

  • @lolocaust15

You forgot to take into account the Black Panthers and Malcom X.

You also seem to forget that if this sort of thing happens in every city where the WTO summits are held then eventually nobody will want to host them.

  • i want to have been part of this

  • Lol stupid ass liberals

"Lulz I dont see whats wrong with destroying thousands of dollars worth of inanimate objects when somebody totally different is killing animal even though the people having to pay the thousands of dollars are no way associated with the WTO herpa derp"

  • @Hellscope1 Too bad Liberals are too pussy to do that shit, they were the ones who said "no let's be peaceful" like the WTO would ever give a peaceful protest the time of day.

  • That day the peaple took seattle and held it for days the day the peaple rose up and said no more we need more protests like this.

  • The people breaking random windows are stupid in my honest opinion. If they are only breaking windows of the WTO building, then that makes sense. Seeing them break windows of non-global companies that were not associated with WTO is just ridiculous. These videos have made for interesting class sessions though. :)

  • @beatngo710 That day was fucking sweet man peaple just got out of control breaking windows fighting cops it was the day peaple rose up we need more protest like battle of seattle.

  • @beatngo710 Nike and Starbucks deserved a few broken windows at the time but I agree with you on non-global companies

  • @playitagainsam18 Why do they deserve a few broken windows? So that minimum-wage labor workers clean it up? That's like assholes spraying graffiti on the walls trying to prove something. Yeah they sure hurt their wallets. Fucking tools.

  • Anarchists are by far the coolest motherfucker you will ever meet

  • THE GOAL OF THIS ORGANISATION WAS GOOD, BUT MANNY PEOPLE WHO KAME THERE ARE JUST FREAKS, THEY MAKE FUN OVER AN SERIOUS PROBLEM ... this is nonscence ... sorry for my bad english PEACE TO THE WORLD

  • "against the animal nations" 3:29

  • Mann, this vid is a hoot.

  • It is idiotic for the "Black Block" to think using violence will be a construvtive way to get the message across. They ruined everything for this protest. It is also known that many of them were paid infiltrators.

  • fuck i wish something like this happened in Aust.

  • From woodstock to hell, thankyou black block

  • The douchebags breaking the windows only give the police an excuse to use violent behavior. A peaceful protest gives the police no excuse to use force.

  • @undeadpresident : stupid, thats a lie which was created by the politicians who dislike the anticapitalist protests.

what happend in copenhagen at the COP 15 in winter 2009? no violence, and so much police brutality.

  • It is thought by many that the so-called "anarchists" who started rioting and were never caught, were in fact sent there specifically to smear the protest. There is a right to peaceably assemble in the US constitution. If the government is violating your rights you have a right to fight back, but going to a protest and smashing the windows and looting local businesses is just asinine and should not be tolerated, by anyone.

  • @undeadpresident Don't sugar coat it with that "Fake Anarchist" crap. Some people specifically said they were there for the riots. They didn't care, they just wanted to raise hell.

  • Now this is America. The people coming together to fight a common enemy!

  • Antifa action !!!

  • I only wish the black bloc would attack legit targets

  • the police started the violence and turned it from a protest into a riot. afterwards (if you saw the movie you'll get this) they found out that one of the first people arrested was a cop out of uniform who was caught smashing store windows. he was masked so the other police didn't recognize him. now why would a cop do that out of uniform, dressed as a protestor?? SIMPLE. they wanted to make it go out of control, to have more power to bring it back under control...with violence. COPS R CRIMINALS!

  • Sorry, what movie is this and which part?

  • are you basing your fact on a movie?

  • I don't base facts from watching movies. I was visiting Seattle. My girlfriend still has some scars on her ribcage.

  • I'm still waiting to here your proof about the undercover cop smashing windows.

  • The movie is Battle in Seattle and it is a very well researched movie most of it is true

  • @IntellectualConcepts

You're fucking stupid, there wasn't any undercover cops. They were a bunch of anarchists from Oregon, everyone knows that. I hate the cops as much as anyone but your stupid bullshit myths about undercover police is fucking retarded, grow up.

  • @IntellectualConcepts

So the guy they interviewed at 2:25 is a cop, huh? God, you're fucking stupid.

  • I just watched Battle in Seattle what a great movie!!

  • I really like the speech of this man from the end of part 1 and begining of part 2

  • @tinotrivino hah me too.....which side im on is now clear

  • @tinotrivino couldnt agree with you anymore

  • Placing the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in charge of fighting poverty is the same as placing Pedophiles in charge of daycares.
