At Gettysburg, Meade was even expecting Lee to attack the centre after he had attacked the wings. He even predicted exactly which units would take the brunt of the attack.

I think Meade was the first competent Union commander Lee had to face, and he didn't do so well. Gutted his own army is more like it.

@21aektzis Theres two codes for both DLCs. One for the Warpath campaign, and one for the extra units. Make sure you put in the extra units code. I had the same problem too.

princeofmacedon i recommend you use warrior society mixed with some bowmen or native american auxillary, NEVER use lancers.. they get slaughtered after 2 sec... but if you use alot of warrior society, im pretty sure you will win, cause they can cause more damage and r more accurate then line infantry.

I know you no longer take suggestions but im gonna suggest it any way becuase i rarely loose with it. On a map with to arty you go with a full set of millitia ranked to make up for it except for two units of heavy cav. Form a trapazoid at the start and march it onto the enemie once there exchange a few volleys and then detatch a group of millitia from one of your flanks and move it to get flank fire on the furthest enemy unit then using a combo of those freed up troops and heavy cav bust the

can anybody answer this question. ok so when i put any sort of line infantry in normal formation 50% of the time they do that british tactic. first line fire then crouches 2nd line fires and so on. but the other half they don't fire like that. why?

not to start a debate, but the "strategy" of lee at gettysburg you speak of is a bit of a misenterpretation. the whole idea of the union being weakened at the center by two days of assaults on its flanks was more of a rationalization lee came to for a risky attack on the union center. it was not his strategy from the beginning, but a last ditch calculation (incorret as it turned out; he suffered greater than 1/3 casualties in that final assault). love your vids though.

your opponents an idiot he should have had a tactical reserve (some light infantry as they can move around quickly) and he could have used that to reinforce his flanks and then used his superior forces on the flank to attack you in the flank while u were engaged with his center

If your opponent had any brains he wouldn't have lost that fight. His line was too long. You had cavalry... he did not aside from his general. So if he saw that he should've tightened up and secured his flanks. Shorten his line and take 4 line infantry in square formation to guard the flanks. After he routed your cavalry, use them to swing around and envelop your army as it tried to charge his center. The guy didn't do ANYTHING... He just sat there and let you beat on him however you chose.

@pzshi the Sioux would be under the Plains Nations in this game. The creators used the bigger colaborations of nations instead of each individual 1 like 4 instance Plains Nations have units like Cheyenne, Sioux, Blackfoot. Huron Confederacy have Ojibwe, Ottawa etc.

The US player was terrible. He spread his army too thin and then went to smoke some pot because his men didn't even move or turn to stop your flanking cavalry, or form squares etc.

Your opponent made lots of mistakes. I'd place my men in square and get rid of your horses. I would use the light infantry as well as the line infantry and shoot you down. In fact, I would have brought some calvary of my own. They would totally tear you apart. Or why not get some artillery and get them to use canister shoot. You probably wouldn't survive.

Resolution, anisotropic, antialiasing, everything! I have a Quad Q6600 overclocked at 3.6 Ghz, a GTX 260, 4 gb ram at 1066 ddr2, and Windows 7 and i have poor performance with this game, no matter what settings i apply! On ultra, The Q6600 never goes before 35%, , so i don't know what's the problem!
