  • wait... didn't conrail go bankrupt, or merge with CN or something?

  • @badgerbuddy Conrail was purchased by Norfolk Southern and CSX together. NS received 56% and CSX received 42%. The portions that could not be given to one or another was made into Conrail Shared Assets Operations, to help keep competition and fairness going. Any ex-Conrail engines on CN would be the former LMSX D8-40CW's with IC reporting marks

  • @TrainiacProductions oh yeah... CN merged with illinois central... not conrail...oops

  • Q702-04 Is to be loaded at coastal In Longisland

  • this is just great. old silverliners at night

  • wow the train after the second septa train sounds a lot like BNSF :)

  • Like railroad videos? i hate them, i hate trains, and people who..., oh, wait, i like trains. nice video

  • Great video! Nice to see the S-5T equipped 7361 is in the area.

  • Lovely S5T horn on that Dash-8! Great video.

  • That is actually a very rare Leslie RS-5T horn on the CSX Dash-8 and probably was slapped on their from a former Seaboard unit. It's rare to hear anything BUT a K5LA or K5HLA on CSX. Good job.

  • Out of all the C40-8's on CSX I have seen, I have only once seen a YN3 painted C40-8.. They look good in that paint

  • It seems like a lot of the C40-8's that are ex-Conrail are going YN3 from YN2. With the C40-8W's it seems like they have no pattern with them, but you're right they look good in Dark Future

  • The Ex: Conrail Dash 8's with the marker lights are quite weird.

  • NARRATION CORRECTION!! You said 2 GEVO ES44DC's, there's only 1 shown in the info. Its 2 CW44AC

  • Yeah I knew that when I was putting it in, but I didn't feel like changing it. And I think the GEVO mighta been an ES44AC anyway. Oh well, it's a piece of junk either way LOL.

  • Lol Good Deal!

  • Well, I'm only an hour from Conway, PA.. Interesting Collection of Video

  • Well done video! Why do Conrail Leslies just sound better than everybody else's? :-)

  • Good stuff. The arking from the electrics looks amazing at night.

  • This spot reminds me of Palmer, MA where I'm going on Sunday. Palmer is host to the intersection of the NECR main line and the CSX Albany - Worcester line.

  • Awesome night shots, and great editing as well! Just wondering - what editing software do you use?

  • Thanks, Tim! I use a combination between Windows Movie Maker (for the longer, less-cut up sections) and Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate (for the more involved, detailed parts).

  • Awesome video! The squealing wheels around 8:30 sound kind of spooky.

  • Thanks, Nathan! And yeah I was thinking the same thing -- would've made a good Halloween shot LOL!

  • Thanks very much! You should -- it's excellent. And yup, I went there two weeks ago during the early evening and caught just as many trains. For more detailed information on this spot I'd highly suggest you get in contact with the railfan who commented above you, TrainutJob. He's THE Woodbourne guy!

  • i love your voice! lol

  • LOL thanks Tyler, I don't think I have a narration voice but I think that this gets more information relayed without my having to put titles over the video

  • Great videos Kyle, I'm glad I could help.

  • Thanks, Dan! I hope we can meet up again sometime soon, especially at Woodbourne!

  • Hell yeah we do, I'll look into a day for that.

  • Okay cool! Can't wait!

  • What was the first CSX train's number?

  • X092-04

  • I'm sorry, I meant the first locomotives number on the first CSX train. My bad.

  • Hey no problem! It was #7361

  • Woah. Thats weird, my brothers name is Jered and my name is Adam!

  • Great catch of the CSX SD60.

  • Silverliner IIs are ex-PRR, Silverliner IIIs are ex-RDG. Nice job dude.

  • Which did I see? Lol. Thanks Adam

  • The Reading's should have been Silverliner II's as well. I don't think PRR or RDG had III's.

  • Very nice video, dude. As always, 5*, a favorite, and a channel post.

  • Thanks, Jared! I'm really glad ya liked it!

  • Great video as always! Loved all the horn action.

  • Thanks, Tim! I'm glad you enjoyed!

  • awesome that sd60s going to selkirk thats 15 minutes from my house i gotta go and see if its still there

  • Thanks, Ramon! Might want to hurry -- I caught this on Wednesday, and it's now Friday. It's probably already run on Q703!

  • your welcome well i guess il just keep railfanning voorhees ville which is agout 22 miles west of selkirk on the same line

  • Awesome Footage, 5 Stars! Keep up the Excellant Work!

  • Thanks very much! I really appreciate that!

  • Awesome shots!

  • Thanks, Ben! =D

  • First train: Bad horn or not blown all the way? And is the horn on the CSX at 3:17 an S-3L or S-5T?

  • Those horns are just awful. I think they're Leslie RS2M's. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct be quickly! And the horn on the Dash 8 was an RS3L if I'm not mistaken

  • Well on the first train those would be Westinghouse AA-2s since I believe those are Silverliner IIs.

  • Awesome 5/5 I just put up a video comp of all night shots tonight chack it out if you'd like

  • Thanks very much, Josh! And I sure will!

  • Wow I've seen a lot of vids from Woodbourne, but I don't think I've ever seen a train run onto the wood connector from the Trenton, ever! Awesome as usual!

  • Thanks, Ryan! I'm glad you liked it! But -- youtube / trainutjob he's -THE- Woodbourne railfan. He's gotten a lot going up the wood, including LMSX C40-8W's!

  • I know. I've been subscribed to him for a while but have missed a lot of what he's caught recently since I'm not on youtube as much as I used to and because it's takes a good 5 minutes for a two minute video to load now. :(

  • Great job as always bud! I love that yellow nose action! You really should come out with us to Railfest next year, it'll be a blast.

  • Thanks, Kenny! And I'd like to if I can scrape up the cash! I'm spending nearly $75 Saturday to see some blues, so I'm gettin nothin for Christmas!

  • Nothing for Christmas, that stinks! But yea, I called the Station Inn, and Tom doesn't know yet when the 2010 Railfest is, he thinks it'll be the same as this year, the last week of June. Hope ya can make it.

  • Alright, well that's pretty far for me. The only way I'd be able to make it is if I took the Pennsylvanian or something, I don't think my car could drive from NJ to almost Ohio and back!

  • No problem, I could pick ya up in Altoona. I'd be picking Mike (Aliceinchains243) up as well. We'd be staying at the Station Inn at Cresson.

  • Nice one...5 stars Kyle

  • Nice video 5*****

  • Thanks, Chris!

  • Not Spam..and I agree! 5*!
