@fairman1000 What's wrong with calling german soldiers in time of national socialism nazis? Most soldiers were Nazis and if they weren't they fought for their cause. So my comment was accurate.

@wanabenerd Actually, MANY Germans where forced into the Army during the Normandy Invasion, by the end of the war, Men werent fighting for Hitler, they were fighting for the Fatherland.

@LEGOALEX97 Yes during the normandy invasion, but not the whole war. I didn't say that they went into the army by choice, but since they were fighting on the side of the nazis, they were inevitably fighting for the cause, if it was their own or not.

@wanabenerd still they werent all nazi's, it was patriotism they fought for. they fought for germany not hitler, he just abused their patriotism. the word nazi has such negative conotations and hate attatched to it, so its some what insensative to call them nazis

@lUnseenSniperl I am aware of the fact that they were not all Nazis, I probably shouldn't have generalized that way, It was supposed to be an ill tempered joke. Anyway, I live in Germany and Germans are rational, sensible people (for the most part).

@wanabenerd i think the problem with cod is that most of that people that play it are kids who have never heard of anything else. I am 12 but I like more strategic and tactical games. The only good thing about cod is zombies. This and tf2 are my favourite games ( i am not f2p on tf2)

@TheEoli I compared it quickly to Call of Duty 1 and 2, because they are both world war shooters. I don't care if they are supposed to realistic and non realistic, they are WW2 shooters, so I get to compare them.

You can't compare this game to Call of duty... They're both very different from eachother. Dod isn't about kills/deaths it is about capturing a position, holding it, and advancing carefully. It's like a mini-war on each map, there's frontlines (where the two sides' captured flags meet, and most of the fighting occurs), there's lot's of cover and flanking positions, and the know-how to use each class is necessary... No one will call you a noob if you camp on this game :)

Instead of yelling at you for being a n00b, here are some tips:

1) the BAR can be a good weapon, as crouching can reduce recoil and it is very powerful

2) the Thompson is meant for short range combat!

3)you can pick up grenades with your use key and throw them back
