When it is put in your face so clearly, that you can not deny the power of this man's words, when you are afraid to breathe because it hits you so emotionally, people can not help but have something nasty to say. Its easier to spew hate then to deal with "why have I not thought of this before?". Shane Koyczan is a genious. Hate will always be abundant. Perhaps one day we will hear his poems about it.

@jb2lk Those are all subjective opinions. I find the greatness in Koyczan's words lie in his tempo. The speed creates intensity and makes his softer spoken words resonate even more. I think, in timing, he is a genius.

Also, as for BS wordplay, and I not sure what you mean by that. I do know that he is a poet, so any wordplay is obviously intentional and central to his project. Less is more, I agree, except for when it cuts out your message.
