the tenor is on the left. The tenor has a darker sound and obviously deeper. I prefer the tenor any day but the alto tends to have more solos in a school band so you can choose.

PrideRock14895 I say play the sax any way that you want to. I have always seen the sax played to the side but who's to say that it is the best for all musicians. Just take a look at Kenny G. We were all taught to play a certain way does not mean that we have to. Plus I think that i would love to play as good as him.

Hey you are supposed to play the ALTO SAX in between your legs not to the side of your body. Trust me i learned the hard way. It will warp your sound a little bit and give you bad posture when you play to the side(i didnt learn the posture problem, though) Your legs should NOT be crossed it will hurt the tone quality of your sax. It may be comfortable but dont cross them.

Yea, there are two of me lol. I had small headphones in only one ear, and what I did was listen to Justin singing it and played my own style with it, then just played the background part with the tenor. After that, i put those sax sounds over the instrumental, adding a little background chorus. It sounds complicated but it's pretty easy. I can edit ur vids for you if you want ;)
