These artists are professional who brags about putting together an enteire album in less than a week. Therefore, they could have pulled together a performance within one day. Now, the only challenge for the last-minute performance would be how BET was going to arrange the show, but not how the artists were going to perform. They could have changed their song to an MJ song in a millisecond. They are professionals.

you guys are so right. BET did a horrible job. In my opinion they were to busy promoting themselves then paying tribute to Michael Jackson. some of their performances were trash to me t- pain got up there with his drank and i couldn't understand a word that Beyonce was saying I was totally lost for words. What was she talking about and what did she have own? There was no talent at all and the whole show was suppose to be dedicated to MJ but it wasn't .... i Wasted three hours of my life!

BET FAILED to honor him and at some point it felt like mockery. To say the show was so sub-par, disorganized and abysmal is being quite generous. They would have been better off doing a 15-minute vignette on his life and accomplishments. At least, it would have been reverential. The worst was they kept giving themselves credit for being able to put on a good show at short notice. How dare they! BET, you piss me the f*&k off!

I was watching the show and LIVID as all hell! I know it was short notice, but who the hell cares; its MICHAEL JACKSON. Stellar producers are supposed to able to contend with such challenges-thats just what they do. Ill take it a step further and say that I felt Michael Jackson was truly disrespected. Crappy-ass performance after crappy-ass performance. As the show progressed, I kept hoping some artist was going to give a SMASHING tribute—it never freakin happened.
