I remember asking my mom to buy a 45 of this song.I loved it even when I was 9 or ten! so catchy from the start to finish..If u find the original rendition of the record! clearer and younger voice there
I remember hearing this song at a pizza paler in a little town called Rodney Ontario close to were I grew up and I thought that part of the song talked about meeting her in Kingston Prison so that is the way I sung the song. It bugged the owner of the pizza pace. As it turned out he was arrested for cocaine trade. Lol!

You might think he sounds younger but really the tape was sped up a half step. That's why he sounds so different compared to the rest of The River.
