Im Michael who was there helpin out.. great jump and its so true the Hackett crew will ALWAYS do whatever it takes to jump those with a disability,(i worked with disabilities for 12 yrs before working for AJ Hackett so its extra special for me to be part of it all.... well done..
Its never too late !! when we shot this story in Cairns FNQ, we also shot a segment diving on the outer reef 30kms off shore as well as fishing, exploring islands, etc. We didnt even get a wheelchair bogged once !!
i just had a flashback of me sitting in the smoking room at college about 15 years ago and suddenly saying i want to do a wheelchair bungee jump (i have spina bifida and use a wheelchair but id never heard of it being done then so thought it was a unique thought) all my mates thought id flipped lol.
I never did get around to doing it, wish i had now, a lot of these videos on here like this have made me realise what ive missed out on, time to catch up i think!

This is wonderful, but why does he need to be in his wheelchair to bungee jump? Doesn't gravity take care of any motion needed for this activity?

That's freakin awesome - where was it done? I'm disabled & tried to go skydiving once. Got turned down, even for a tandem, heh.
