Excellent guitar lesson ! I am a guitar player since 4-5 years and I can say i know a lot of things about guitar playing but still learning some soloing techniques i came across this lesson. I was expecting to hear a long boring lesson but instead I heard very useful things that a begginer can learn from. Rock on dude ! ;]
your videos are amazing...i made myself a youtube account just so i could tell you that.. thanks alot, they are incredible and are helping me up my game considerably.. yer smart and charming too.. thanks again!
These videos are probably the most clever thing anyone on youtube does. Never give it up man, brilliant idea, but super helpful too. I've played guitar for over 8 years and even I still learn things. Great job!
Hi! Love your videos and you are very cool! But plz can u tell me wich Gibson that is? I'll check it out on thomann's webbsite :) And thanks for the tip in this video :)
I have always had problems with remebering the D and G string... (haha he said G-String... :D) So when you mentioned the Octave thing i was all like "Why the fuuu did i never thought about that!?" so thanks :D
Bro you should be releasing full-length instructionals haha :) love your style of getting the point across in the most effortless way possible :) keep em' coming man!
Have been searching for ever to find a video like this. Always having trouble with finding notes on the fredboard. Using octaves was one trick, but I figured out that if you slam a note and go three strings down ( with octaves ) and then three frets back you also get the same note. It's just math. This video helped me alot with playing arpeggio's.
My ol' brain is so clogged with useless information that these types of hints are enormously helpful! Now the interval lessons make more sense!! Thanks Neal!
cool guitar and lesson, you should do a lesson on how to play scales so they dont sound like scales, or a lesson on like how to kno what chords sound good together other than the more common chords. thanks.
I don't know the technique behind the licks like you just played. The one where you slide in, bend, hit some notes under the bend, release and slide back. Do you have any tips on how to learn them? Are they called anything? Thanks.

It's just a pentatonic lick in the Em scale, 12th fret. Check out lesson #11, this covers most of the lick That lesson is in Am Pent, 5th fret.
Thanks for tuning in!
