Yes, but color televisions were still in development, and color programming was very low at the time of this commercial. Color broadcasts didn't become the norm until 1967, and the sales of color televisions didn't exceed black and white TVs until 1972.
Ever watch TV Land? A lot of those black and white shows are from the 60s, and can also be seen in color, because they were aired during the transition.
i have that ken and a bubblecut barbie like that. i collect vintage barbies. they are so awesome. the commercials are so cool to watch to see how different the ads are from today.
