@Monster4rmda559 it works better with single coil pickups. its something to do with electrical interference between the amp and the magnetic field in the pickup windings i think. due to this guitar having humbuckers it wont work. or work as well.

@dibnah46 You are wrong. boost teh signal with a OD or DIST. My 5 watt vavle amp with hit feedback all day with a humbucker. Im pretty sure ACE would tell the same thing!

@Andr517 It is a Mesa Boogie Stiletto Ace amp. I had it on the crunch / gain setting on the dirty channel. Treble & presence has to be turned down. Other than that, nothing special. The amp does not have reverb.

It wasn't the guitar; it was the amp. The amp has no reverb and it was not loud enough. with a little reverb and a little more volume it would have had a lot of feedback. my Marshall amp would have given me feedback at that volume.

The gain on that amp is a little more than i can get with my Marshall.  i have it set around 7 on this amp; my Marshall jcm 900 would be about the same with the gain all the way up. the trouble is that if i turn the volume up any more, i am afraid it will buzz out the audio on my camcorder. there are manual settings for the volume levels, but i don't know how to adjust them! maybe i will do it again on the marshall in a few days. maybe. but you can tell what the guitar sounds like.
