  • There are only a handful of tracks that stand out in the meadows of my heart n this is one of them. A very powerful moving strack this is. I wish he could do some thing like a 1 hour version of this as back ground music in my home. It makes ye very possitive in n of life.

  • I saw Hugh Masekela in Atlanta at the Black Arts Festival. He didn't perform this song long, but he was more than entertaining, he was majestic.

  • I saw Hugh in london last may for the 1st time..i don't think i've been happier in my life.I didn't stop smiling and had goosebumps!I also saw him in novemeber last year play with the london philomonic orchestra.The Manhattan Brothers also made an apperance and together they performed a song called Nomathemba..i almost cried!!I listen to Bra Hugh every single day..often in the morning b4 work,really loudly,it puts me in a great mood!My world will be made when i get to shake the legends hand!!

    I have been listening to Hugh since 1966-The Americanization of the UgaBooga. I love the jazz. This cut is the new jazz from Hugh. Find and hear Myxolida and you will see the origins of his jazz. One of his best jazz albums was recorded in 1972 in London, Home is Where the Music Is.

  • this man has been a legend even before I was born, He represents SA so well,He lives music, he eats music, he perfoms with pride and passion, i am so proud of him because even his music is still selling across the world, i just love sitimela. all his music are great they have a message. i am proudly south african.
