  • This video is proof that there is a God who gives gifts.

  • Got the big heals on.

  • Fantastiskt vacker sång! Tack Sissel!

    Tack för uppladdning:)************

  • Her norwegian accent is very obvious here and there!

  • @Jouwl Not so obvious I think.

  • @njkkproductions "han"? Du menar förstås hon, och hon är Norska. Norge. Vårt brodefolk. Sissel, en fantastisk kvinna

    Skit ner dig unge

  • Pleasure to watch. She looks much Slavic.

  • ... Frisky Winds of Spring kinda imply that the winds are... playful... horny, even. Refreshing or just fresh would be better alternatives.

  • The title translation here is incorrect. It shouldn't be "Frisky Winds of Spring" but rather "Fresh Spring Winds."

  • Seeing her perform this song makes me think of the title of a Hollies song from the 70's, "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" ... no connection between the two songs implied.

  • GODT NYTT ÅR SISSEL - elsker deg i hele mitt hjerte. Koncerten i Skien var helt fantastisk. GRATULERER !!!

  • The Sissel is unique in all aspects: music and female beauty. "After" wide search on YouTube, I found his official page with the employee responsible for your website doing apology to homeosexualismo and on Sunday, he makes apology to Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican. This is the kind of ideal employee to destroy any artist's career. In response to his irony, I migrated for woman PAPARAZZO. Perhaps, "ROBERT", with group therapy can change its passion for GAY, by musa PAPARAZZO.

    His Holiness.

  • She's amazing. I listen to her all the time. Heck, I'd learn Norwegian for her. :)

  • Love this lady.

  • Fantastical Elegant, Glamour and Charming as usual.

  • The greatest voice, and the most beautiful woman. Vundaba!

  • Love that version of this song!

  • Sissel has a way of making these folk songs sing to ones heart!

  • good upload

  • thanks for sharing, 5* ;-)x

  • F A N T A S T I C ! ! ! The best version of this song I have ever heard in my whole life. No one can sing like Sissel. She is very, very unique. The greatest singer of our time.

  • Glorious voice! Thanks, Sissel.

  • She sings like an angel but her swedish isnt that great

  • @Cissemissen

  • @Cissemissen

Yes, her Swedish is great, but it is apparent that she is not a native Swedish speaking person.

But with that voice..... guess it's alright....

  • Whenever you doubt why we are here, what are we for, what is it with humans, listen to Sissel. She is that fire of passion, talent, joy that defines the best of the human condition. We wage wars, we stab each other in the back, but there is Sissel!!!

  • it is truly joy to hear this music, voice, language. and ofcourse to see her....

  • Mycket vacker kvinna med bra pipa men sorry denna låt kräver gammeldagssvenska

  • Here are the Swedish lyrics: Vårvindar friska leka och viska lunderna kring likt älskande par. Strömmarna ila, finna ej vila förrän i havet störtvågen far. Fjälldalen stod i grönskande skrud,
  • thank you very much Funzies1!!

why is she pronouncing "och" like "ock"? is it because she's Norwegian? is that how they say it in Norway? regardless, I wonder how she managed to learn a song in Swedish by heart like this.. I can't judge her pronunciation though, as I don't speak Swedish.. is it good or does she sound like a foreigner?

  • In general Swedish "och" does sound like "ock". We don't have the word "och" in Norwegian.

Norwegians are accustomed to speaking several [forms of the] Norwegian languages (two official) and many, many dialects.

So Swedish is just a slight variation of our own language.

  • nidaros1112 - this is so very interesting; I knew something about that fact that Norwegian is a collection of various dialects but I assumed that by dialect you mean different accent and maby different slang words, not a different language.

So, how different is Swedish from Norwegian after all? how come most Norwegians understand and speak Swedish? do you all learn Swedish in school?

  • @yonataneshel, most norwegians do not speak swedish, but most understand it well (but not the other way around). If norwegians were to learn to speak swedish, it would be quite an easy task except for some odd consonants, like "sjunga" (sing) where "sj" vibrate from uvula like a vocal. That's hard to pronounce correct if you didn't grow up there. Neither is norwegian collection of dialects, but rather two distinct different languages, bokmaal and nynorsk. Sissel sings swedish as swedes.

  • When she sings "sorgerna", I find some of her Norwegian accent is showing through though as well.

  • im from sweden and we understand norwegian very well! When we comunicate with each other we speak swedish and norwegians speak norwegian and its no problem at all.

  • @Eriikk82

    but...of course you know....

    Svensk folk ar Bast!

  • @TheWizzooo

    Uh-Uh!!

  • yes you have, offcourse! Its og!

  • she really sounds swedish when she sings. the woed och is og in norwegian and she pronunce it perfecktly! you pronuncing "och" as ock in swedish. thats how you say it. swedish and norwegian is almoust the same language. it was the same country for 100 years ago.

  • Any chance you can add the Swedish lyrics aswell?

  • To Sisselfan, thanks for all video

  • Sissel is the complete entertainer. Beautiful woman, perfect voice which is so captivating.

  • The diction is always excellent from this beautiful and beguiling woman!

    Terrific song too!

  • Utterly charming,joyful and animated!

Sissel can sing any genre with style and artistry...and she looks gorgeous in the process!

    Thanks,Sisselfan!

  • :D

    That's a geeat song too!!

Okay Iove Sissel no matter what language she sings in, can be Swedish as well :) Really beautiful! Both her and the song.

  • She's beautiful with a luminous smile.

    Charming voice.

  • Beautiful ;D

  • WOW!

    Perfect vedio

    I'm loving it!:)

    Thanks!

  • wow... just awesome! what a performer!!!

  • Great version (she manages so well with that instrument of her soprano voice to convay a relaxed lightness-of-touch that so many other singers seem unable to - the arrangement is nice too with a traditional folk tune put to a jazzy ensemble).

  • Richard!

    Perfectly well!!!!
