There isn't a better duet for them. The lyrics are perfect. The line "Webster could never define what's being said between your heart and mine" sums it up nicely. It's obvious that they have feelings for each other. I'm sure the reason they aren't together is because they are far apart now and launching their careers and it would cause too much drama. Excellent vocals and performance. This performance makes their top 5 duet list performances. I am sure I already know this answer but maybe someone call tell me why do you keep closing your eyes Scotty? Even though he closes his eyes you can feel their connection/chemistry. They both have strong futures ahead of them and I just hope they consider recording a duet album in their future as they sing beautifully together.
I love Scotty and Lauren, they are both great examples of young kids following their dreams. They both have beautiful singing voices and wonderful stage presence! Scotty is new to this whole " being a star thing, " ...he never once expected this, so the emotion and personality that he might lack now, is still yet to get better in time. I still find it completely dumb that people still find the urge to nag about him still. Get over it. It took awhile for him to get here, and it's going to keep taking awhile for him to be completely comfortable and up to par as some other singers.

Excellent vocals and performance. This performance makes their top 5 duet list performances. I am sure I already know this answer but maybe someone call tell me why do you keep closing your eyes Scotty? Even though he closes his eyes you can feel their connection/chemistry. They both have strong futures ahead of them and I just hope they consider recording a duet album in their future as they sing beautifully together.

I love Scotty and Lauren, they are both great examples of young kids following their dreams. They both have beautiful singing voices and wonderful stage presence! I hope one day I will get a chance to see them in person, one at a time or at the same time, does not matter to me! This is a beautiful song and I think they sang it very good together :)

Because I thoroughly enjoy Lauren's and Scotty's singing together, and this natural and unusual friendship, I appreciate the diplomatic way you give reasonable and true criticism of Scotty's lack of the "loving" look during a duet with precious Lauren. Scotty is new to this whole " being a star thing, " ...he never once expected this, so the emotion and personality that he might lack now, is still yet to get better in time. I still find it completely dumb that people still find the urge to nag about him still. Get over it. It took awhile for him to get here, and it's going to keep taking awhile for him to be completely comfortable and up to par as some other singers.

Lots of haters saying she'd never make it, no personality, too robotic etc. BUT Multiple Grammys, millions of albums sold, a host of #1s, and countless country music awards and I guess we see who got the last laugh. I think Scotty ...and Lauren, will both have the last laugh! Massive success is the best revenge for haters. LOL

@ScottysDiary I got to meet Scotty on a family bases, his family are great friends with my family in Garner nc. In person he is a card, funny and very humble. Yes Lauren was there and they are truely just best friends, she picks at him and they laugh all the time. they are young. Thats what 16 and 17 do. While we were witht hem out on the farm, Lauren got a bug and Scotty was just so good to her, but he did pick at her saying oh poor baby girl. Does this mean I have to find n she said I dare ya.

Scotty is unreadable at times he can sing with so much emotions & the next he looks around and trys to distance himself. What is evident from their interviews and duets recently they are very close friends. So to the g/f at home why post that he is yours (insecure) especially if it is a secret. I felt sorry for him in the interview now not ever becuase he was really frustrated and loss for words. He is not stupid he said the girls at home never checked for me before idol (I say no more).

This is one of their best performances besides LA,NV KC. They have just gotten so good with this duet. The chemistry is evident especially when they smile and look at each other. They are going to make great music in the future especially from their duets. There is just someting special with their duets that speaks to their talent. They are so young and already this good. Their duets will make them millions.

She is an exceptional performer and singer with amazing talent and what is important here is their voices compliment each other. Scotty has got the best singing this duet with him and her personality is her best QUALITY

Scotty and Lauren you both need to spend some time together & practice how to sing this song to each other with your eyes open.Scotty closes his eyes for most of the song & when eyes are closed you can feel the energy that he is trying to convey so imagine if he were to open them WOW magic. They both give so much in this performance you almost want to believe the lyrics to be their testament of how they feel. Damn these kids are good just open your eyes and sing the whole song to each other
