Braço escalopado, infelizmente não é pra mim.. já tentei algumas vezes mas não adiantou... eu pressiono forte demais as cordas e acaba desafinando levemente o som... não fica legal..

Mas pelo jeito, parece ser o ideal pro tipo de pegada que você tem!

@permanentgrin Thanks for your comments. The fretboard, in the beginning,is a bit weird. Then, after some playing (ie 1 month max) you get accostumed to it. I have another scalloped guitar (the Blackmore Fender Strat) and I really enjoy the feel and control (specially the vibrato and bending stuff). Although I have other non-scalloped guitars (LesPauls, Ibanez RG, Music Man, etc.) and I like them all. It all depends on the style of the music and your mood.

Your playing style is super smooth, the picking is extremaly tight and your fingers are always close to the fretboard. Takes skill to learn to do that.

is the shreding better with your scalloped fretboard... what about the speed ..you play faster ?

No relation to the speed (in my opinion). It gives you more control when bending and with your vibrato. I have others guitars and I really enjoy the deeply scalloped frets. Check the songs that I have recorded with my brother (most of them with this guitar) at "KISS Cover Brazil" here at the youtube.

its harder to play faster on scallop's but its is good for slide's sweep's and bending more ...

but ..i dont know why the shreding is hareder ...there is no wood anymmore and you can walk around the sring however you want ...

well cause u have no solid surface of any wood left and can cause u to slip over the place ,and it takes time to git used to even yngwie said its hard to play fast on scalloped frets. he use's is it for vibrato and cause he can sweep more cleanly ....thow the guitar is fun to play it take's a little bit to get used to it........but i would suggest the guitar to any one

Yngwie syays himself it'll slow you down rather than speed you up. The scalloped is something he developed for better control of his vibrato.
