This is a great intro! Fantastique! Blender sure can keep up with the big wigs. You should consider releasing or selling this model + rig so more blender users can learn "transformer"/robot style animation. Or create a short.

Yes it is blender internal and unfortunately we can not sell this rig or model as it uses parts of a watch that bleongs to the watchmaker. But i might make a tutorial if i find time and explain the techniques.
