It's obvious he doesn't train with the Japanese sword. Any Shomen or Yokomen attack the foot is forward as though you just pulled your sword not coming from the rear. They lack understanding of the Japanese sword if Aikido is suppose to be a so called sword art!

i must admit Tissier shihan makes aikido look beautiful, even though, from technical standpoint, there are few holes

@Hearior For what I know: mae ukemi. Just like diving to the ground and land on your arms, only here with only 1 arm.

These aikido movements when properly done are like a painting, or a sculpture or a nice song if you watch them, they are pleasant to the eye.

But the only way to realise the power these techniques contain is taking them in the tatami by a skilled aikidoka.
