  • hi,

this looks really cool, how much does it weight?

Where can I buy this tipi?

    Thank you

  • @zyabo It's great! really! You can probably find it on "outdoor research" or exped.com. If you look for Exped Tipi Tarp you will find plenty of sellers on google! Contact me if you still can't find anything!

  • just wondering what happend to ya chin mate!! Did it hurt???? good vid

  • @TheWaggaBloke Are you talking about my Goatee? ^^

  • @TheWaggaBloke yeh! lol my brother has one like it I give him a rib over it too I try get my head around how you bloke camp in the snow just with a bit of plastic tarp to keep the cold wind and wet stuff off you.. I use me swag and tarp ove the top in winter that works for me but not just plastic 1mm thick in winter snow

  • Tarperians of all countries, unite!!! Greetings from frozen Czech Republic!

  • Hehe! Thanks for the comment! You're right! we shall unite! Tarping is just outstanding!

    CH-eers my friend!

  • Cool tipi!! Been looking for a smal tipi=) 5/5

  • Hey Mag! Long time no hear! how are you? Yes, this tipi is just amazing! Love it!!!

  • Well my friend.. been out by my house.. filmed a littlebit.. but havn't had the energy to do something about it.. was nothing important though.. Just a kuksa project and some talking=) Was going to make a fishtrap but then I did some other stuff with my dad instead:P Nothing goes like you whant it;)

  • Sweet! I'd totally use something like that if I was travelling solo. Nice review! 5/5

  • Matt, what hat are you wearing?

  • Hi john. so, the pants are 5.11, the shoes are Skandia (snowshoeing shoes) and I have a Flanel shirt and the blue jacket is a kind of canadian inspired jacket with recycled PET sheep fur-like material for insulation and a switcher coton t-shirt oh and cheap gaiters. In the 2nd part I wear my homemade w00l shirt instead of the canadian. hope it answers your question! Don't hesitate to ask! Thanks my friend! CH-eers!

  • LOL, you answered everything except what "hat" your are wearing on your head LOL

  • HAHAHA sorry about that! This is a Aussie Hat bought years ago in a small "Australian and aboriginal shop" they used to have Superb Aussie swags too but now it's closed... snif... Love that hat ^^ I haven't worn it a lot because I don't want to damage it.

  • I've just seen that the "Hat" was in your question when you first asked that...HAHAHA... next time I'll try to read more carefully!

  • Very nice Tipi. Do you know any shop that ships to EU? 5*

  • 5* On to part 2!

  • try making a tripod out of wood no need for the pole in the middle, keep the the videos coming mate

  • HEy! yes! actually that what I would have done, but I didn't have time and the will to cut live trees. But i'ts actually much better without the pole in the middle, for sure!

  • nice one

  • he I like it, looks like a very nice and light tipi.

The only problem that I can see it that when it rains you could get some water seeping in via the ground, just have to make sure that your on high ground when you set it up. Other then that very nice indeed.

  • Hey mate! well, I'm pretty sure you can easily find a solution for that problem. digging around the tipi. This isn't something the really bothers me!!

  • @PinewoodCH

yeah its the only thing that i can see but its only a small prob, and there a allot of ways to fix that :)

  • Cool! Are you sure you can make a little fire inside? Did you try it?

  • Not tried yet. Using a dakota pit fire or a homemade small hobo stove, it won't be a problem, but for that, you have to make an outer tripod so you have room in the middle.
