  • sir i have a querry as usual!! i didnt get the dark choclate, i just got normal cooking choclate!! are there any alterations to b done wid the recipe wid normal cooking choclate or i just use it as a substitute???

  • Hello sir, I have a question, why you added hung curd to the mixture? What will happen if I don't add the hung curd to it? Is there any other option other than curd?

  • Hung curd is used when you are not using eggs. So, if you are using eggs then there's no need to use hung curd.

  • Thank you for the appreciation. You can definitely use the normal milk chocolate, but by doing so you might not get the rich texture as is got by using the dark chocolate.

  • Hello sir,i made chocolate fudge cake ,instead of eggs i used extra grams of flour ,baking soda and sugar,,,,and cake was spoiled totally,,,,I was very disappointed

  • If you wish to prepare an eggless cake, kindly follow this recipe: In cake recipe the ratio for substituting eggs is: for every 3 eggs you add 50 grams of extra flour, 50 rams of extra sugar, 50 grams of extra fat, 1 tst of extra baking powder and 1 tsp of baking soda.

  • Gur or what it is commonly known as jaggery is different from brown sugar. You can ask for brown sugar in the store.

  • sanjeeev jii!! mine is microwave owen.. in that i cant pre heat... so we just keep it for 10 mins.. cuz it might get harden when we keep it for 25 mins.. are you using microwave or electric owen ? :S

  • You can not replace dark chocolate with cocoa powder.

  • The best method for sponge is two stage method where in you beat the eggs and sugar together in the first stage and add refined flour in second stage.

  • You can use normal grain sugar instead of brow sugar. There is no substitute for vanilla essence in this recipe.
