So..yesterday, I purchased a wireless mic..didnt work, toook it back, got replacement, that didnt work, went back, got my money back, went to Walmart next...that mic worked for 15 minutes. If anyone for one second thinks that this product will be ready and without faults, YOUR NUTS!!! This is a commercial people, meant to blow you away....In the last 2 years, I have gone through 3consoles,8mics, 6 controllers, and several games all returned, all right out the box

The applications for this are SOOO Wide, anyone look at xbox website on this? Super cool. Open air environment movement and gesture interface, facial and voice recognition on top of that for (hopefully still) around $80 US? There's alot going on there for the public market go get at. Programers can have a field day with this. Won't just be tied down to videogames, could have a whole slew of things tied to it. :D

The Eyetoy is actually still in existence and is being used by Sony to do the exact same thing Microsoft is doing here. As a matter of fact Sony's motion controller will be out Spring 2010. So, no its not crap and Natal is very believable...recognition software has been in development for decades...people just have to buy this innovative hardware just like they did the Wii and I'm sure now is the time...

Oh! wow! the Wii, as much as "love" my wii with is an "Amazing" system for a hardcore gamer, I have to say this is just another Gimmick that the gaming industry has fallen down to. An example of the pleasing the "Masses" is the updates for Gears that got rid of 60% of their fan base just so "Everyone" can play and have a Good time. talking about the Milo's appearance, one of the huge considerations in any software project is code reuse which basically means that we wanna be able to use the same code with different parameters without changing the code itself. Lionhead is a well known company and I imagine they would not avoid certain software engineering rules.

As far as this particular demo goes, it's likely that Lionhead programmed Milo's AI to have certain set reactions to set questions.
