I can REMEMBER being a kid and swearing after hearing my parents argue with one another, but hey they very quickly corrected me. The phase only lasted maybe 2 weeks, but they sure as hell stopped me from saying it. Only took a good slap on the hand every time I swore.

Better for a kid to push the limits of language propriety than to grow up hating himself, or thinking that violence is ok, or thinking that he might burn in hell for eternity. People really have weird priorities sometimes. My daughter picked up on my bad language when she was little, but then stopped as she got older. And no one has ever hit her or told her that she's going to hell. I call that a win.

If they are not parenting properly you can't expect other people to be rationale if they ever had this said to them. I have to admit that I have to admit that I gave an uncomfortable laugh about this.
A little back story, I was raised in a day care center run by my mother. A swear word was more of an anoying plague and a naughty thing to do. Thus the uncomfortable bit, but I thought your video was cute and funny.

I do, however, realize that alot of people are raised differently, or for whatever reason, and are geniunely offended by it. That is why I am trying, and not always successful at trying to curb it with my children. He did learn this from his older siblings and I just had to take the oppurtunity to 'exploit' it, because it isn't something you see everyday. lol. I'm just having some fun with it.

As for the ones making the comments-
We did not sit him down and intentionally teach this to him, though we both admit we should've sensored ourselves better in front of his 13 & 11 yr old siblings. That being said these are just words, not even directed at you, that at some point in history someone deemed offensive. Can you explain to me why the word shit is "bad" while the word........
