heavy wepons tend to have less kick, if you ever get a problem with gun jaming take the time and compleetly tear it down clean and inspect everything, its often a dirty or worn part. if its not a fulty desighn
@jlcyamaha that is very true also bro. And also for new & unused weapons u have to have the break in period & proper lubrication very few people kno that
@LPATRON19 i know about the lube, i figured there was a break in peroid. just because anything machined needs one, most of the people i know do teardowns very seldom, therfore lacking alot of lub makeing for more wear. unless you have to field strip you may aswell just do a teardown
badass knife man, where'd you get it? I agree in your other video,I like older guns as well. I got my chinese sks with bayonet a couple weeks ago, not sure if I should keep it original and just use stripper clips , or get the tapco 6 position stock and 20 round mags,or folding stock, heat-shield , and 20 round mag, or keep the wood stock, get 20 round mags and a heat-shield
@SolidSnake4Ever2003 thanx and u can get a knife just like that at amazon. Wut model did you get and do you plan to make it a assault rifle or sniper rifle? I like the stock mag but I like more bullets even better, ten rounds is less than a m9 I think it'd best to get a 20rd or a 30
@LPATRON19 maybe assault rifle since I heard no scope will stay zero'd really on the SKS since it was meant for iron sights.I have a steel 30 round mag that came with the rifle plus a 20 rounder tapco the guy gave me too.I heard the 30 rounders tend to jam up,so I think I'll go with the 20 rounder. I really like how that dragonuv stock looks too.Such a hard decision lol.I heard Cobray made polymer 30 rounders way back in the day that work, but I haven't seen any and not sure how durable they are
@SolidSnake4Ever2003 they can stay zero'd you just have to have a mount drilled to the frame by a expert gunsmith. but if you going assault then get the "tapco t6" or my other fav "Advanced Technology Inc. SKS STOCK 6 POSITION SIDE FOLD" type in sks stock on amazon. they got nice selections for low. & a 30rd will jam up but if you take a look at how the ammo loads in the chamber you can find the problem just like the 20rd tapco. its simple :) like they say. not every part is built perfect
@sovietsks45 well it kinda depends on the stock or the the chin on a person. aiming down the iron sites on this sks seems just fine to me. but overall i think it mostly depends on the stock. but its a really good gun. i never got a jam yet.
@ARTONY92 thanx bro. n there is a solution to the cover scope rail to. all you need is to take the M cover off & trace it and make a rubber gasket for it to stop the movement. :) ur way is cool to. im gonna buy a 2nd sks and mod it the way u said. thanx bro!
no prob,,sry if it sounded rude..thanks

hows aiming that thing with out a scope? i heard some people complain that the cheek rest is too high to use the iron sights?

LPATRON19 1 year ago
yes it is a bad thing if u dont kno wut your doing. but u can take it to a trained gun smith for tune up
LPATRON19 1 year ago
Isn't drilling into your gun parts a BAD thing??? Should I take it to a gun smith and allow a trained person to do this mod (to stop jams)?
bigslogkilla 1 year ago
try looking at the sksboards forums. plenty of great modifications to be found there.
dont get te receiver cover scope rail, they never hold zero wwith a scope. better off having a gunsmith install a drill and tap mount

Thats pretty awesome. I think I'm gonna save up and get either this or an AK
Outdoorsforum 1 year ago
@Outdoorsforum yup. both the AK and SK have many stock to choose from. they even have a Dragunov stock for the AK too.
