If you are plating on to plastic, then you will have to use our new plastic plating process. More can be read about this on the Spa Plating online shop.

You can estimate the thickness of gold using our online calculator located on our Spa Plating website. You will also have to estimate the surface area of the article you are plating in order to use the calculator.

You don't need to apply numerous coats to acheive a desired thickness; just use enough solution and plate for longer.

if you apply the coat a few times, would you get it to be thicket and last longer? or how can you make the plating last much longer? i want to do a trim around my phone, can i buy the smallest machine to do this brush technique, without taking the phone apart?
