Wooooooooow, I agree with all of you, the movie might appear boring, but i reaaally enjoyed watching it. The scenes are such pieces of art, really beatiful, the garden scenes, the scenes with her daugther marie therese, the scenes of ladies eating food, i really loved the movie as a work of art, felt in heaven when looking at kirsten's joy in gardens !!!! Nice job!!

Whenever I watch the Marie Antoinette garden scenes, I can just feel the beauty, peace and tranquility of Trianon just calm me down and relax me. Such a visual masterpiece.

This is a lovely movie (even though I did not agree with their use of modern music for a Past century - I do not like the contrast... Yet, I got used to it... Anyhow, that is the part I call "la petite abeille" if you see the movie you will understand.... eventually the little girl - SO CUTE - says to her mummy (Antoinnette) - "une petite abeille" (a little bee) - LOL

i see why you chose these scenes, they are so delicate and need to be cherished. yes marie lived glamorously, but these visions of her takeing solace in nature is humbling in her nature. i personally find this nostalgic, i dont spend enough time in nature's escape. i praise your craftsmanship :)
