@0191jupiter Excellent fretless bass. Without the metal frets in the fretboard (neck of the guitar) the sound "boings" from one not to another. I've yet to get half way decent with a standard guitar let alone succeed with a fretless!
@norrisvulcan Thank You..This was the toughest one to figure out in my opinion. I would get relatively close... but just not right. Then Bingo!!..It occured to me what he was doing with the open "G" His style use a LOT of open strings.
And yes flats always on the fretless. DAddario Chromes.
and everything I play is self taught with taking my influences into mind,
so when I started on bass 4 years ago:
I had to take into mind my most favorite creative player of all time (all instruments included): Mick Karn...
I use a 5 string with active pick ups which actually allows clean "fretless-Sounding" slides, and high on the neck with lots of awareness of open strings
That's not quite what he plays. Also, what happens to all the double stops?

This is great! I've also spent 25+ years trying to emulate Mick. Unlike you I'm still trying! Great playing..

Well done - excellent work - I like how you slow it down note by note ... I might have a go one day.
Some great Karn basslines around ... RIP Mick.
