According to what is given in the Bible, Isaac was about 36-37 when his mother died, but no mention is given as to how old he was when the binding took place. Where does it say how old Isaac was at the time of the binding? It seems to me that he was a boy or young man, but not 37 years old. According to Genesis 22:5, Isaac is refered to as "na'ar", which is the Hebrew word meaning "boy, lad, or youth". He is the Living Lord who was raised from the dead and every human being one day will stand in His presence and bend the knee and call Jesus "Lord". Our God is a God of Love.
