i think i have a guitar that the guitarist played from these guys,but im not sure. its a lotus strat and theres a blue meanies sticker on it that says chicago. can someone help me out

Bill is such a great guy. We were friends in C-dale. I actually suggested that they name themselves "The Blue Meanies" when they first started (before they had picked out a name). Glad they ended up with so many fans over the years.

taterfay is correct on that, she did come up with the name. What I dont see anywhere on the internet is that the band was actually formed by Jay Vance and what was that guy's name? I don't remember but he was an awesome guitarist, handsome, cool and very modest. :)

Wow, Bill is still kickin out the jams! I saw these guys when they formed in Carbondale, IL (SIU) back in the late 80's! Bill is the only original (and founder/leader) of that early SIU band. Cool video!
