  • So did turning into a frog grant Freddie immortality or something? How can he still be alive?

  • I love how even in this movie the crows are black people.

  • I need to go digging through my vhs asap!! lol

  • 6:49-7:02, best part, who sang this

  • How does killing her nephew make her all powerful and give her control over the world? I mean, she seems pretty damn powerful already O_O

    P.S. Nessie is cool :D

  • 7:53 Stereotypes, lawl.

  • I only saw this once. I didn't realise it took so damn long to get around to the basic as-advertised premise.

  • Rather amusing that some of the voices are in french, and yet the movie was made in England

  • I never understood why she first changed him into a frog and then tried to kill him.

  • @IzayaSasuke It's revealed why in part 4.

  • @FRO7movie I watched part 4 but I still don't get it ^^"

  • @IzayaSasuke Strange reason, but what is Messina's favourite food?

  • @FRO7movie Ohh I get it. XD Though it's gross eating your own cousin, ohh well that's why she is my favorite villian since I was little.

  • I havent seen this in ages thank you ever so much for uploading this :)

  • Freddie has pretty blue eyes *blush*

  • This movie is one big mind fuck.

  • is there another movie b4 this? or is it the edited u.s version that i'm thinking of?

  • I think i have a theory as to why Nessie is in France and not Scotland...

maybe there are secret passageways deep below the lake that lead to other large bodies of water..which would explain how Nessie manages to hide from the world so easily....

Of course it is just a theory..I could be wrong

  • This movie feels so much like The Princess and the Frog. But espionage style XD

  • This is one of my old favourite films, I love the fact it was made in england and its about england cause you never get many films that take place in england :(

  • how does he go from the middle ages to the 80s or 90s

  • 0:19 "OF COURSE"

  • Why is it that you never realize just how weird a movie is until you grow up?

  • I like how no one at all is surprised by a six-foot-tall talking frog that works for a spy agency and has magic mind powers.

  • Why didn't he turn himself back into a human?

  • @Galutron Probably got used to being a frog

  • to me this movie has kind of a Don Bluth feel to it.

  • I love how it's such a bad copy of what it thinks a Disney movie is like!

    "sarcasm alert"

  • WTF..... They r on crack

  • Weres part 1

  • ooook, this movie is bringing back so many memories but its also raising so many questions now that im older. what year is this movie set in that has medieval clothes, kings, magic, the loch ness monster in france, and modern day cities as seen from the very beginning of the movie? they had to be on something when this movie was made :P

  • @NarutoOnePiece at a point in the film the young prince skips timezs after being turned into a frog, i believe it was when he first met the loch ness also love this film yeah child hood rocks

  • That's probably how she destroyed the ship Freddie's mom was on.

  • The Loch Ness Monster?! What's she doing in France?!

  • 6:47 He's a what????

  • oh my gosh... the longer I am watching this film the more memories are coming back. I loved the sing-song phrases that came and went. This film stirred my imagination of fantasy and adventure as a kid

  • I have never seen this movie and I am 26 years old! its really cool, I like the witch Messina, she is very scarey! WOW! and the little frog is so cute! I felt bad for him, him losing his mother and father, poor thing!

  • Did Freddie go though a quick voice change in puberty at 2:33?

  • ....did he forget that he was originally NOT a frog..? lol

  • 7:12.....NAVEEN?! O_o

  • Hahaha. "Nessie!" That was what I remebered most about the video. Mesina too but she freaked me out when I was little.

  • 2:35-Whoa, voice change! How long did it take them to get where they needed to go? 'Cause he doesn't sound like a 10 year-old boy anymore. lol

  • @EponineGraydeChagny Well it depends on the timeline he Remember what the Narrater said, Freddie spent his childhood with the frogs and he grew into adulthood so technicly he isnt a 10 years old

  • @dragonfire2000ful EponineGraydeChagny is talking about how inconsistent young Freddie's voice is. I'm guessing that young Freddie had a temporary voice actor for the animators to work with, then his dialogue was dubbed over by Ben Kingsley's son, Edmund Kingsley. Why his "goodbye" and other bits of non-dialogue acting managed to make it into the film is unknown, unless someone from the production team comments!

  • @FRO7movie OHHHH okay thanks

  • I take back what I said, the french accent of the narrator makes sense. Maurice Chevalier looks like the character's inspiration.

  • This movie is actually quite charming.

  • Miyazaki FTW!

  • About 5:15 in I had to check my drink to make sure it wasn't full of hallucinogens.

  • they also abriged the queen of evil musical number number to make it less effense the cut out some of the dark religious image that were in the original. Most of the electructions you don't see.

  • ....So why is Nessie off the coast of France?

  • man, they could really make cartoons back in those days! ;)...but god!! i really hate when people say "oh memories<3" or some shit like that!...people who's saying this is either a false bitch or a damn asshole!

everybody i know who says this is a straight up asshole!..These are facts!

  • I never could figure this out - how does it go from being the middle ages to the 20th century?

    Thanks for posting this!

  • I haven't seen this in years, I LOVE It!

  • Oh darn this is not good!

  • Okay, I just have to ask; how would killing Freddie let Mrs. Voldemort there rule the world?

By the by, thanks for uploading this! I still have my old VHS of this, and I haven't watched it since I was... cripes, six, I think.

  • Oh I just realized in my version of the movie the narrator was different. It was a really deep voiced man. Is this a different version? Some of the voices are different sounding too.

  • @Pooky1991: Yes, this is the full, uncut version. The copy you're thinking about is the edited US version. James Earl Jones was the voice of the narrator in that particular cut.

  • @FRO7movie I love James Earl Jones as an actor and other voice roles (definatly voicing Mufasa<3) but I think I love the narrator in this version way more. I admit James made the US version a little too dull soundingXD

  • @FRO7movie ty for uploading the uncut version. I had the censored version as a child, and I'm looking forward to seeing the differences between them.

  • @FRO7movie James Earl Jones voice rocks. :D

  • @battybuddy Not to knock James, his voice is awesome; it's just not right for this movie.

  • @FRO7movie Oh, don't think I mistook you. Even the best voice actors can get bad roles for them.

  • @FRO7movie why couldn't Fredrick get turn back into human at the end.

  • @battybuddy NO..... I am, your father.....

  • I couldn't remember what the name of this movie was and I searched for it 4ever when I was little. All I could remember was that whistle "NESSIEE" thanks for uploading.

  • they have got the soundtrack of freddie as fro7 in hmv

  • Really? I thought it was out-of-print for years...

  • @fairylairy20

    Where? What's hmv?

  • @minespatch: HMV is a retail chain based in the UK that sells DVDs, Blu-Rays, CDs, Games and other consumer electronics. They also have a second-hand section, and seeing as the soundtrack is out-of-print, it may have been spotted there.

  • hmv is a music store and a video /entertainment store

  • @fairylairy20 I remember a Gorillaz forum talking about Plastic Beach posters, but since we don't have them in the states, it's different for us.

  • is there a sequal? i really hope so

  • agree pixar needs to be crazy like this

    freddie are so cute

  • I want that phone.

  • I love Freddie's phone!

  • Wonder how those frogs found all those clothes...XD.

  • Actually I guess 'Up' was close :)

  • I miss the bat guano crazy animated movies of the early days!

Magic french prince turned into a frog, saved by the Loch Ness Monster, becomes a secret agent...

Pixar needs to go crazy like this one day XD

  • You ever watch some of Miyazaki's films?

  • Yeah, but its gotten to be only the Japanese are allowed even to do wacky animation.

  • @Elementroar Yes, I love Miyazaki, especially Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away!

  • @bloodrunsclear

What about the oscar nominated Up?

it's about a Old Man who uses balloons to travel to a far off land, with him is a boyscout who helps him, as well as a giant colorful bird and a dog who talks.

  • @Reelbigearth

Notice that I wrote that a year ago XD

    Maybe Pixar listened?

  • I just realized, why is the Loch ness Monster in France?

    Still, LOVE this film!

  • on holiday

  • Hat do all beings with power want . . . more power. Her black magic and her brothers kingdom can no longer sustain her hunger. she thirsts for more land, more magic and more power! Untill humanity grovels at her feet she continues her quest but not alone as shall be revealed later on.

  • I never got Messina's motives. Why does she want to rule the world?

  • Tromboner55

    poor ship at 0:30

  • I love the wit of the frog couple dancing, and the male wearing a flat cap, smoking a cig, and reading the paper! XD

  • I wish I'm the cridect of USA to realease F.R.O.7 with whole uncut scene and as a special Edition.

  • me too!!

    somebody should make a petition!

  • i don't know why everyone's mom hated this movie, but my mom loved it!!!

  • so did mines if she were alive today she'd Probably laugh at Freddie getting flashed by Daffers

  • It had some religious stuff and some district sexualy explict stuff in some other parts. Like if you look really close in the back ground of queen of evil in the british cut you can she people dress like the KKK and like Staoline or something of that Russian dicatory like persona.

  • Also, i don't remember Daffers ever flashing Freddie

  • even tho this isn't the same version i saw when i was little, i'm still really glad that u put this on youtube. thanks!!

  • Yeah i definitely was watching an entirely different version a long time ago, there were completley different voices playing alot of these characters

  • Im seeing paralells with journey to the west here...

  • Holy jesus Messina is creepy...

  • Messina is voiced by Billie Whitelaw who played the satanic apostate Mrs. Baylock in "The Omen" (1976), Mrs. Doasyouwouldbydoneby in "Water Babies" (1978), and voiced Aughra in "The Dark Crystal" (1982).

  • woah 2:45 did he go jump some planet with magic to earth...but nessie is still there later...and the time period is all different lol, so many plot holes

  • Yeah, now that I'm older, it doesn't make sense, but to little kids, they don't even care...

  • no i think that he got jump from one place to another (still on earth) and the time? nessie may live looonngggg years i think and freddie as he is magical creature, too.

  • This was my favorite part! Thanks for showcasing it!! :):):):):)

  • It sounds like Messina is trying to channel Bela Lugosi.

"I vill create a race of atomic supermen, vich vill conker ze VUERLD!"

  • very good on the accsent!

  • Thanks for posting this I've been looking for it for awhile. Watching these old movies again (I just watched Little Nemo) as an 18 year old is such a different experience, like why did he now know that he was not a frog, shouldn't he have always known, its like they were planning on starting the story with him as a frog and forgot they already showed us he was actually a human prince. I like Freddie the Frog better cuz James Earl Jones is 10x better than the french guy,

    still a great film tho

  • He knew he was a frog all the time and so did the filmmakers; what they meant was despite his appearance, he was different from the other frogs because of his abilities, so he decided to move on from the pond when he reached adulthood, therefore he is no longer classified as one of them, or as a "frog" in their books.

  • Stone by stone, by stone...

That was my favorite line from this movie, so glad I can hear and see it again!

  • those frogs don't look like they're dancing....

  • Dispite the big changes made to the US version. I like them both but the original UK is much more .......I can't say now but it is still good. I wonder how he came to be in this time though? LOL

  • 0:30 Ship go Bye Bye

  • Hehe, how convinient for it to be there in the first place... =P

  • I mean convenient.

  • Poor ship. ;~; I felt bad for it. Worse than I should have. xD
