  • sorry to say that before i became a witch i was raised as a christian. when I started studying the craft it answered so many questions, and the Great Goddess herself has answered so many more.Thank you Isis and blessed be to all who call upon her.

  • Why is it us Wiccans or Pagans in general are so happy compaired to other religions who aren't? (I mean you can tell other religions are not happy, because they feel the need to harrass different paths.) I think they reason why is because we are following the old ways and reconising what it the basis for all religions and not putting restrictions on people. That is why i love my chosen path because it is so freeing! Now if you understood what in the world i just said your a special person! lol!

  • I am Agnostic, and but I love these chants and songs. Sigh, why can't we all just embrace each other for our own beauty?

  • blessed be all

    )0(

  • @goth9ever

    blessed be

  • Libana, cool. I own this CD. ^_^ One of my favorites!! This song is from The Circle is Cast.

  • @AlleyCatJoel Stop falsely correcting me, then removing the comments. You look like a fucking loser.

  • @AlleyCatJoel It's not worser. Dumbass.

  • I was always attracted to wicca, when i was in grade 2 and in grade 4 i was singing about the wind and a gust of wind came out of nowhere i had no idea if it was just a coincidence, then in grade 6 i used to be suicidal, till i read a book on wicca :3 it saved my life <3

  • bright blessings!

  • @AlleyCatJoel It's called 'worse' not 'worser'. Learn english.

  • To those who mock, hate and berate others beliefs my heart aches for you. May you be Blessed with inner peace, insight, love and acceptance for your ways and beliefs. May The Goddess Hestia watch over you and Bless You.

  • @AlleyCatJoel I agree with you, but I'm satanist ;)

  • @AlleyCatJoel I know what you mean! I was the same way!!! Wicca is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I will NEVER go back!!! Blessed be!! )0(

  • @AlleyCatJoel I stumbled upon magic in a bookstore, because someone put a book in the wrong place when I was 13. Despite the persecution from my parents almost leading to suicide, my life was fantastical and magnificent ever since. 17 now. Whether you are Wiccan, Pagan, Theosophist, Spiritualist, or some kind of light-loving occultist I have forgotten to mention, you should discreetly put your books back in the wrong place so that so that somebody's life changes. :D

  • @Rilan11 That's very sweet. I also found Wicca at a young age (14 and 15, through various experiences and individuals), but for some time was drawn away from it due to still being quite naive, perhaps ignorant, and because of people, particularly in my family, being vehemently against it. Now I am going on 24, and after many years of searching for the truth, I realize I found it so many years ago, and I'm seriously thinking of returning to it and making it my life, once and for all.

  • Why is there so much hate in these comments?! Please, don't start fights. You don't like something? There is a simple solution to that. Leave. Don't be butt-hurt over someone's religion, it's disrespectful and it's also none of your buisness what they choose to do/believe.

  • The first time I heard this, it was like.."Wow" now years later, I still love the song, though it is boring...but her voice is magical.

  • @AlleyCatJoel same here! I've NEVER been so free!

  • @AlleyCatJoel You're a dumbfuck. No religion is good for you. All of them make you realize how short life is. Go do something with your life, don't sit around and sing songs. Dumbfuck.

  • blessed be to all those who walk the Path.ive favorited the video.i hope you make more like this.

  • blessed be the goddess )O(

  • gives me goosebumps.. hail to the elements

  • Reincarnation is not biblical. Many claim to be Christian but don’t even know who god is, and the word of god is foolishness to them

1 cor 1:18 for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  • ~:0)

  • catholics and christians, and anything taken from that are full of freaks. what honestly makes you think we want to hear you quote stuff from the dumb book you carry everywhere? What makes you think we want your religion forced on us? Thats why wiccanism is awesome.

  • @GuardianZola123 do not drop down to there level trying to dicorage them from there religion there will come a time to defend ourselfs again but that time is not now

  • Those making negative comments about this video, why are you even on this page if you think any one with beliefs different from yours worships the devil? BTW I'm not a wiccan, I just dont get why you would want to force your beliefs on others.

  • Any idea where I can download an mp3 file of this?

  • all christianity in america is wicca and christian combined like they added the wheel to the christian religion )O( blessed be

  • magical beings still exist its just that the mundanes were scared of what they didn't know so they killed them of and the survivors are now in hiding whether in other dimensions or just trying to blend in here

  • @TheChristisgreat I'm a 110 lbs, so your 2nd point is invalid. I'm a male wiccan, and I see no satan. In fact, good luck has been happening a lot to me. =) enjoy you inquisitor, you.

  • @TheChristisgreat How is chanitnig this going to summon the devil this is a chant to the elements which were created by god not the devil so in way they are praising god to just indireclty. I don't know much about htis reliegion or wiccan if that is what this is, but I know it is the worship of nature not the devil it not like they are a cult that sacrifices humans.

  • @TheChristisgreat I don't think that's the case. By chanting this, people are asking for some sort of protection from the elements, which, depending what you believe in, are the creations of God for the benefit of humanity. It's like paying respect to something. And no, the devil won't spontaneously appear just because you start chanting this, that's just christian superstition. And offending people is not helping you any.

  • @darkheart9668 were acctualy praising the elements, not trying to get something. obviously u cant ask nature to not effect you

  • Yay! People not bashing religions on the vid! sweet. Was just about sick of comments on other vids bashing each other. Anyways.... lemme actually talk about song now. Is this an actual chant to a practicing religion? I'd GUESS Wiccan, but I'm not very good at guessing, so just tell me lol.

  • Hiw sweet of you to say! God bless you! Just so you know, I think your religion is interesting ( in a good way, I mean) I have a few Qs about it. Where is it mainly practiced? What festivals/ holidays do you celebrate? What deities do you worship? With <3 and best regards from Nashville, TN

  • @OMGoc9 1: It's practiced anywhere and anyone can practice it. 2: We celebrate Imbolc, Samhain, Beltane,Yule, Lughnasdah, Ostara, Litha, and Mabon. 3: We wroship MANY dieties. Any more ?'s ? LOL Blesssed Be )o( -*SilverStar*

  • @ witchychick12345 yah I'm catholic but I'm ok with all religions

  • @OMGoc9 If only all people were as understanding as you! I mean I'm a Wiccan and my best mate is a Catholic, and we couldn't care less, makes no difference to us ^_^

  • And who are the artist? Tho I can listen to this hours at a time, I would love to listen to another song also : ) Blessed chant.

  • the name of this is The Elemental Chant

  • Please some one tell me the name of this song i have searched long but can not seem to find it

  • Love and Light to all my Brothers and Sisters of the Craft )O( To all of the Christians as well, I know you have good intentions, but could you please lay off of our religion a little bit?

  • It sounds silly but this song really helped me sew! It was perfectly timed with my machine and helped me to focus, so thank you!

  • My BF was singing this the other day...kinda funny comming from a gruff bearded construction worker

  • @Cjaz84 Well not really, actually. That is a common stereotype, (if he is Pagan or Wiccan or practices the Craft) that Pagans, Wiccans, etc, are small, weak, and so forth. It's not quite uncommon to find a strong Pagan, Wiccan, etc. Though it is hard to find a Pagan or Wiccan most places, anyway. And the beard, again doesn't surprise me. I've seen plenty with beards.

  • this chant was a great help when i did some magiks it helped alot thank you all pagans who love helping others blessed be

  • Blessed be. Where did you find the picture at 2:14?

  • Iam from the land of our mother ye that dont belive in our mother has closed eyes and harts. She loves all her childen and she gives us her blessing.

-Native American and Ancient Celtic Prayer (the two prayers were a little too similar to be coincidence)

    Blessed be to all!!! )0( )0( )0(

  • @celticbattleaxe If any of it was real, you would have my praise. But it's all fake, and you're wasting your time.

  • @josan2964 Think with your soul, not an analytical eye.

I presume that what you call "real" is tangible and something you know - you seriously need to lose your closed-mind.

There are countless Native and Celtic prayers, of which a small portion were documented. Are they similar? YES. I could give you paragraphs of similarities between the two cultures, but with you, I'd be wasting my time, so in that, you are correct.

You will only beLIEve what you want to beLIEve, moron.

  • @celticbattleaxe LOL? I'm the moron? Since when did anyone ever have a soul? There is no physical evidence of a soul, nor has one ever been proven to exist. All of the prayers you have mentioned do nothing, and you can do much more productive things with your time. My mind is not closed, because I actually believe in things that have mountains of evidence to prove them. You're the closed-minded pseudo-zealot who needs to get a fucking ounce of intelligence. Get a life, and stop wasting your time

  • @josan2964 Of course there's no PHYSICAL evidence of a soul existing. That's why you study METAPHYSICS, moron!!! Yes, you're the moron - you are letting your analytical mind rule your brain. Metaphysically, it is true that all people have a soul. Shall I go into detail, or are you going to continue acting arrogant and stupid?

There are some things that science cannot prove yet. That's why there's religion, to SEEK the truth of all things within the Divine.

  • @josan2964 It doesn't matter what you believe, or by what name you call the Divine. But a closed-mind that only excepts what it wants to hear is NOT going to get you anywhere in life. Continue and you're sure to be a cranky-old idiot who wished he changed himself in the past.

Seriously, you wouldn't know the meaning of intelligence. For your information, I am studying Psychology at Goddard College (my major). What are you majoring in? Belief perseverance?

  • @josan2964 The prayers I mentioned do more good than you would ever know. If I was closed-minded, I'd only accept information that I believed true, which is called 'belief perseverance' in social Psych. You will not accept that there is something more out there than yourself - sounds like a commanding personality to me. Perhaps you're so scared out of your mind that something beyond you current (and limited) intelligence actually EXISTS - a nice way of working repression to your advantage.

  • @josan2964 Now, do you know the meaning of "intelligence"? I bet not. Intelligence is not all about how much you think you know, how many classes you take, or whatever else that you conclude to be the stereotypical mental-set of "intelligence".

So, please - if you're not willing to have a justified argument (and you've proven none of your points), fine; don't drop the f-bomb in my face and hope I cower in a corner for you.

  • @josan2964 Now, unlike you, I actually have a life - I don't tell people what to believe or what not to believe like you do. I don't repress the possibility that there are things in this world that cannot be explained. I'd hate to see you in a Parapsychology class, because you'd probably argue that "it's all false". Not everything is going to conform to your will, and I certainly will not.

If you want a life, let go of your damn belief perseverance.

  • @josan2964 Study metaphysical philosophy - it's a good way to start. And also, LOSE THE ATTITUDE.

Sometimes people realize that they were wrong to only believe in what they know too late. Near-death experiences aren't fun, but they are meant to teach you something, and I can tell you need a lot of it.

Good luck in life - you'll need it

  • @celticbattleaxe Obviously I need the luck, when here you are scolding me about near-death experiences. Are you that fucking stupid that you cannot tell when you're taking your own advice? I can't force myself to almost die, and neither should you. Traumatize yourself some other way like sticking a tempering iron up your ass. Don't come crying to me when all of this philosophy comes to bite you in the ass when you realize it isn't true, nor should you waste your time with it. YOU need the luck.

  • @josan2964 I won't be the one crying - it'll be you. Why have you secluded yourself into belief perseverance and fear? You are so scared out of out mind that something else is out there beyond your limited explanation. I am not trying to patronize you. I'm simply telling you what will happen according to the Law of Karma. And if you disagree, fine - it corresponds in physics, though.

Please, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and do some honest research, and one more thing - LOSE THE ATTITUDE.

  • @celticbattleaxe Do some honest research? you have provided NO evidence that any of your claims work. You're just telling me to look into my mind's eye, and all that shit. I'll look into your mind's eye when i'm kicking you in the back of the head for being an idiot. None of this will do anything positive for you, and just makes you awkward in social situations when you bring it up, and you will alienate your friends. You're a fucking idiot.

  • @josan2964 You want evidence? Look at the works of Dr. Ian Barnes and T.G.E. Powell, particularly on the Celtic culture. I'm advising you to stop thinking that you can analyze everything. You can be the smartest person in the world but be the weakest person in spirit.

You threaten me further and youtube service will be paying you a visit. I wonder what happened between you and your parents. Either they were permissive, or you just never grew up at all.

You are correct in stating that ...

  • @josan2964 continuing to try to have a civilized conversation with you is a waste of my time. It does you NO good to refuse to listen to people, and I'll wager that you'll never find a job or start a career with that attitude of yours.

"Alienate my friends"? Clearly, you don't know my friends at all. There is a reason why many people like me. YOU are alienating yourself from potential friends, like I was about to be, until you threw dirt in my face like the moron you are.

  • @josan2964 I see no point in continuing to even discuss anything with you - you are belligerent and unruly in your conduct, and I'd greatly appreciate it if you would cease to use the f-bomb, please. Seriously, if you cannot control your emotions in a conversation with another person, it is YOU who has the crappy social skills and needs to find a way to control your anger. Anger leads to false judgements, and it's better to just get out of the situation then to stay angry.

    GET A LIFE.

  • @josan2964 Ah, speaking of evidence, you never showed me any, but it's not even worth talking to a person such as yourself. I wish you good luck - if you're going to work with people with this attitude, watch how fast you get fired. I'm not and was never trying top tell you how to run your life; I am and was only advising you.

  • @celticbattleaxe I suggest you check your own advice before giving it out. You'll piss a lot of people off if you don't know who they are, or how many fucks they give about the subject. I suggest you spend your time on something else, and for the last time, Shut up....please.

  • @josan2964 You were already POed. If you cannot control your emotions, you'll get nowhere. I know exactly who you are in terms of personality - short tempered. Seriously, why are you repressing even the thought of something greater than you? You have a very strong analytical mind, but it overpowers your creative mind, and you've blocked everything there. If you want me to leave, I will - I hope you consider my points, keep an open mind, and try to lose the attitude.

  • @josan2964 If you want my advice to conform to the mental set of your analytical mind, look elsewhere. Belief perseverance is not one of my favorite characteristics I look for in people, and clearly, your full of it.

I go, but you are distancing yourself further and further from self actualization.

  • @celticbattleaxe Stay away, I don't want your disease.

  • @josan2964 Oh, so religion is a disease? What the heck are you so afraid about?

  • @celticbattleaxe Religion is a disease. It's a common ailment with symptoms consisting of, an over inflated ego, no brain whatsoever, and the fear of death.

  • @celticbattleaxe I guess religion fags like you aren't easy to dissuade.

  • @josan2964 I don't take kindly to a-holes like you starting arguments, if that's what you mean.

Now please, if you have nothing further to say about this matter (since you so despise talking about it anyway), leave.

  • @celticbattleaxe Lol k. Keep your silly ignorance.

  • Blessings to my patron deities Diana and Jupiter!

  • may nyx come into my heart and bless me, a child of the night. blessed be

  • HAIL RHIANNON GODDESS OF THE MOON! blessed be

  • @mrcooldude964 we belive that the god and the goddess live in all things around us

  • @barrow29 the god who created all things is alive in everything. the god who created all things sent his son to die for all on the cross so all through him we can make it to heaven. jesus is the only way. why follow a man made goddess when jesus is the only way to heaven? ?

Rom 1:25 they exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised

  • @mrcooldude964 Col 2:16-17 (NIV) Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a new moon celebration, or a Sabbath day.

Learn your own bible and shut the f*ck up.

  • @mrcooldude964 we have no heaven we have reincarnation. our religion is much older than yours. we believe in Jesus but not what he claimed or taught

  • @barrow29 its not about any religion. its about recieving jesus while we still can. what religion is older then jesus who was there at the creation of the world? john 1:1,

2 tim 4:3-5, For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

  • @mrcooldude964 Well lets see here, Most all Pagan religions go back before recorded time, even the Judeo religion that Christianity sprang from is thousands of years older, and there's no proof who created creation.

  • @mrcooldude964 the religion of witchcraft is older than Jesus. tell me do you celebrate halloween

  • @barrow29 john 1;1, 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.

witchcraft is older then the beginning? witchcraft is older then before mankind was created?

    i dont celebrate halloween no

  • @mrcooldude964 the word of your god is only about 2000years old. The Muslims thinks there religion is millions of years old even tho their book is only about 1300years old, their are wrong also. witchcraft go back thousands of years. The "Beginning " goes back a lot farther than you think.

  • @mrcooldude964 no it is not you just are bad at keeping records

  • @barrow29 when you stand face to face with jesus (AND WE ALL WILL) you can tell jesus how you rejected him to follow some goddess and worship other gods,

Rom 1:25 they exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised

  • @mrcooldude964 I wont be standing before him, he will be kneeling before me begging forgiveness for the stupidity of his followers. The truth about your god is that he is a lie.

  • @mrcooldude964 1st in both of our religions he is dead but in mine he is liveing right now and dose not know it i will find him and tell him exactly that

  • @barrow29 jesus is alive and well. jesus was dead for three days and was rose to life ,

the price for sin is death, instead of let us all die and go to hell, jesus took our sins on him and died in our place, now through jesus we can be forgiven sin and enter heaven, but most will reject what he did for them and miss heaven

Rom 1:25 they exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised

  • @mrcooldude964 Jesus is alive and well and deceiving people left and right. The price of Christianity is slavery. Instead of living a life of slavery, follow your own heart, and do not listen to the lies of Christian dogma.

  • @mrcooldude964 christian believe in reincarnation also

  • @barrow29 recarnation is not biblical. many claim to be christian but dont even know who god is, and the word of god is fullishness to them

1 cor 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  • @mrcooldude964 well, if Jesus is another aspect of god, then he was born on this world, that's reincarnation, and again raising from the dead so that he can be touched, is again reincarnation.

  • @Ulfvaldr2012 I wouldnt say that would be reincarnation per se.....( dont get me wrong im totally against this mrcooldude in every way possible BUT...) mostly because of the fact that within the holy trinity of christianity, the Father was never flesh, and neither was the holy spirit. The Son is supposed to be the INcarnation of the Godhead...so technically there really wasnt any REincarnation the cycle would have to have happened more than once...

  • @jerafro The life of Joseph, son of Jacob in the Old Testament, has some of the most interesting parallels to the life of Jesus which suggests that Joseph may have been a previous incarnation of Jesus.

  • @Ulfvaldr2012 they may have had similarities as human individuals but i think thats hardly enough evidence to suggest that he would be an earlier incarnation of jesus. Unless any of the biblical texts say that jesus had incarnations prior to the crucifiction, i'd have to disagree with you. Until then, technically speaking, jesus was made flesh once.

  • @jerafro that's an ad hominem reply if I ever heard one.

  • @Ulfvaldr2012 i guess what im really trying to say is this: So jesus and joseph had some things in common. big woop. Do i think thats enough evidence to suggest that joseph was a past life of jesus? No. As far as im concerned the Bible hasn't suggested that jesus had any past life as a living human being or that any biblical character has lived more than one life. So i don't think one could say that reincarnation is a christian or biblical belief or doctrine.

  • @jerafro its not just "some" its a hell of a lot. Jesus and Joseph were both born through miracles, Both are described in the Bible to be very pious men who received revelations from God, Jesus and Joseph both went to Egypt in their youth. Both began their life's work at the age of thirty, Both Joseph and Jesus were hated because of their greatness, Both miraculously gave bread to the people around him because he received God's revelation. theres a lot more of these, need me to keep going?

  • @Ulfvaldr2012 I can see what you mean, but, although I'm no expert in reincarnation and don't really believe in it, wouldn't reincarnation be to sacrate to say whether someone IS or MUST BE an incarnation of another person. And isn't the meaning of reincarnation learning from your past lives? How would the same spirit learn from a similar life - which seems to me the thing you are suggesting? Or am I misunderstanding the whole concept?

  • @ridderres Reincarnation happens when your soul is not aware enough to break out of the cycle. When you die, you will have the opportunity to recognize what is happening. If you cannot come to terms with it, and are still attached to worldly things...you will be reborn into the cycle of life and death. The level of your awareness determines what form you will be reincarnated as. If you are completely oblivious, you will come back as an animal with no chance of further spiritual growth

  • @redtiger108 pathetic antropocentrism.

  • @Adihash666 What I find pathetic is your arrogance. I was answering someones question about reincarnation. It amazes me how people of different creeds always think theirs is superior. Just shows how one tracked your mind really is.

  • @redtiger108 one tracked? O really? ;)

  • @Adihash666 Very - you don't have to agree with what people state, but that gives you no right to point fingers.

Seriously, if you can't even have a progressive and non-malevolent conversation about someone's beliefs, YOU are pathetic with the mental age of a 3 year-old.

  • @celticbattleaxe haven't said it's other way

  • @Adihash666 Ah, regression continues even now...

    - you're hopeless.

  • @celticbattleaxe not this life, maybe next. nothing is hopeless

  • @Adihash666 With one exception.

  • @celticbattleaxe which one?

  • @redtiger108 You tell 'em!! :)

    Blessed be )O( )O( )O(

  • @redtiger108 Wow - that is interesting. I read, in Paul Elder's 'Eyes of an Angel', that reincarnation is willed by the soul and guided by the Divine - this is true in my beliefs as well.

  • @ridderres supposed to yes, doing is up to that person, so if this is the case, and they are the same, and assuming your bible is correct, them he didn't learn his lessen. I dont belive this anyway because I belive the bible to be fiction the only other possibility is plagiarism.

  • @mrcooldude964 actually i used to be christian and tell me do you support the holocaust. any way a counsel not your god decided that reincarnation was unchristian

  • @mrcooldude964

And again we found some Chirstian hwo try to tell hwo we MUST belive... Well I have to tell yuo that I'm Wicca and I'm proud of it

  • @IamMrsTracy its not about any religion. we are created by god and when we pass from our bodys into eternity we will stand before the one who cretaed us. and all that will matter then is did we recieve jesus (who is the only way to be forgiven sin )or not. sin cant enter heaven. only through jesus can we be forgiven our sin. thats why jesus is the only way.

  • @mrcooldude964 re·li·gion/riˈlijən/Noun

    1. The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods.

    2. Details of belief as taught or discussed

    chris·ti·an·i·ty/ˌkrisCHēˈanitē/

Noun: The religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, or its beliefs and practices. Christianity is today the world's most widespread religion, mainly divided between the Roman Catholic, Protestant, and Eastern Orthodox Churches.

    Christianity is a religion.

  • @Ulfvaldr2012 you kinda contradict on your list being #1 (god or gods)because Christianity as you said is based on the person (as in one) and teachings of jesus. Jesus to you is a god and i dont believe he teaches you to judge nor am i, but to share love and understanding. i understand were you come from and we dont get offended by what religion say because you dont allow your self to be open minded and accept the fact that each one of us is different but one thing in common Spirituality!

  • @mzBoogieNightz first of all these are right out of the dictionary, second, i am not christian, i was proving a point to mrcooldude.

  • I love this chant I close my eyes and feel our Mother hold me in her loving arms.

  • @sunbumus Me as well. I just love how calming it is. I even use it at work when a customer irritates me and it just settles me down.

  • Thank you for this precious chant! Blessed be! Hugs from South Brasil!

  • blessed be and marry meet

  • The tags on this video are a little...odd

  • wasnt this in the movie juno?

  • Love this chant! I started wicca 3 years ago, when I was 12. :D

  • This is my favorite chant!

  • Love this, Blessed Be my friend

  • I am 14 years old and just beginning to get into Wicca...my friend is going through a rough time right now, and I wanted to try something to kind of..give her more strength. She has always been very connected to fire and i had read somewhere that some people are very close to it, like they have an affinity for it. Is there any way I will be able to sort of send her strength through fire??

  • @CityGirl1996967 Giving her a nice candle to burn while she counts an elemental chant on a string of beads will probably make her feel better.

People going threw a crappy time need to take a few min to refocus so they dont feel so scattered.

For gift giving I like to get the candles that have colored layers and carvings on the outside so you can see the various colors. It makes it extra-special to burn one of those.

  • there are diff versions to sing this song, but i have only been taught one. My friend says differently. She sings it the way her parents taught her.

  • Lovely vocal arrangement. Nicely done on the imagery too.
