@biggiesmalls981 its not the breaks that are stopping it there are cables on the aircraft carrier and on the bottom of the jet is a hook that latches onto the cable when landing and slows the aircraft down incredibly quickly
@Keeve62 you can, your local airport probably has at least one flight school which you can get a discovery flight for 100 dollars, which is about an hour of you flying.
Radar Altimeter warning tone. Sounds like the software bug is set at 380 feet, when it goes off at 0.8DME from the boat. The second time, crossing the ramp, is likely due to the hard bug being set at 40 feet. Both bugs are totally pilot selectable, but those are pretty common numbers a lot of guys use around the boat.
wow, this is exacly what i want to do, F/A-18 super hornet pilot on an aircraft carrier

skandalintegra 10 months ago
@skandalintegra is that referring to being on bar ball?
BHSpecialFX 6 months ago
@BHSpecialFX That's the pilot calling the ball and the LSO confirming the pilot has the ball.

@skandalintegra ah just wondering because thats what they say to tell Space Shuttle Pilots that they are basically on target.
