  • Brill, love your montage

  • First movie?! Looks crazy.

  • 0:46 hey hey whats that wilm?????????? :>

  • @martorrr Butterfly effect ;)

  • What movie is it at 3.40? The guy that throws that digger? ta

  • 4:16 : the 3D effects :)

  • yes , he he , first row lost their eyebrows :)

  • Nice!

  • Kinks always powerful with the iron of life, video lame ----

  • The music almost makes the video good. Almost.

  • This is not what the song means to me. Horrible video. Clueless.

  • Good song.. Not quite sure about the vid though..

  • Love the song, hate this video. Sorry.

  • no matter how they do it, it has a different effect, and each just goes right to my core

for me, the original version seemed more raw, with a youthful defiance, not wanting to be swallowed up in the sameness of everything all around

and this version seems haunted, almost conceding that he is, like everybody else in that he is now one of many, none of whom wanted to be like everybody else

  • i'd never heard this version, its good, but i find it a bit overblown compared to the studio version.

  • The description says it all... this is so much better than the studio version

  • good song

  • Completely the best version of the song! Thanks for the awesome video!

  • brilliant the way the beatles footage is mixed with zombie hoards it really fits the song, this a live version btw?

  • this movie is??

  • @BadBlueBoys99 A mix of movies, Donnie Darko, American Psycho, Aliens, Room 1408, Pretty sure there was even some Beatles footage of sorts there.

  • I think is was The Butterfly Effect.

  • Great take of the song =)

    I love the Davies Brothers!!

Especially Dave, such a cute fella^^

    But Ray's my favourite...=P

Well, where do you got this take?

    Is it a live version?

    I never heard it before...

  • to the bone cd 2 live edition :P

  • This is the anthem of every KinKs fan who has followed the band through their career. God save the KinKs, Ray and Dave Davies and all their fans. They and we are not like evrrybody else and we won;t be destroyed like everybody else!

  • @CrashTrash29 Its not a cover dumb shit

  • A "sucky cover?" Is 29 your age, or your IQ? Jesus, what a moron.

  • Its not a cover, its an original.

  • @CrashTrash29 yeah. it's the kinks doing a cover of a kinks song. it's on "to the bone" which is an excellent live kinks album. if you think it's a sucky cover, you must no much like the kinks. personally, i think it's their best version.

  • What is that first movie with the girl in the green?

  • Always reminds me of the Sopranos i think it was at the end of the episode when Tony really gets janice pissed off at sunday lunch and walks off down the street, but not sure if it was that episode.

  • yea it was that episode. it's what brought me to this vid lol

  • @goldenvision63 It is man...you're right. Great show, great episode...the real deep nature of tony....being an asshole, not standing his sister doing something good for herself.

  • @goldenvision63

good memory. it was that episode

  • @goldenvision63 yes it was that episode and it perfectly pictured tonys character once more. He rather lives by his feelings, even if its a lot of anger, than trying to suppress them, which obviously was what Janices was doing and he also wanted to prove.

  • Fucking cool song

  • Real work. Great job. Ever Thinking about putting together between time of 1:35 to 1:55 (hours), of a good thriller? I have connections.....

  • whats the first movie

  • What is the movie at 0:34 where the kid snaps?

  • buttery fly effect

  • Awesome song , thanks for posting !

  • This is such a great tune

  • please no editing of everything adding up to nothing but violence

  • Second sailordoc3349's question, which album is this version from? great version

  • its from the 1998 cd " to the bone" american edition the whole album is raw like this

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah! Kinks!

Damn! I was born 40 years too late.

  • What record did this version come from? Thanks

  • What is the origin of the Video please?I guess it is much later than the original, can't accuse it of not being visual, quite grafic and thought proviking.Anthem for an angry loner,it's me all over!!

  • It's a load of different things. The only film I recognise is The Butterfly Effect, which the rest isn't from.

  • Also Sweeney Todd, and The Man Who Would Be King; the latter is where the final clip comes from.

  • GRANDE RAY DAVIES

  • awesome loved it

  • Brilliant.

    Nice quality too.

    Thanks for posting this.
