The two smoke stacks are from an abandoned electrical power station and the kayak shop is in an underpass below a bridge. Yonkers is just north of New York City and is one of the oldest inhabited places in New York. And, of course, the Hudson River helped to open North America to Europe. I wonder where you paddle?
@gianniiandolo I paddle in Palermo in Italy .....!! I discovered the world dell'autocostruzione only 4 years ago! Since I started I never stopped .;-)... built in strip planking, S & G, Skin on Frame. For me and for my 2 sons ..... Now I'm building a baidarka. ... even in strip planking the North Star by Rob Macks ... Despite the many miles short, self-building brings people together.!
Jack is the Baidarka master! ;-)
