YOU ARE TERRIBLE AT YOUR WORK, you can't stitch it back, you are suppose to pack the wound with gauze after draining so that it heals inside out and all materials are removed and absorbed by the gauze packing. If you juz close it up, it can be formed back to a cyst.
@Ultimate007Trini all caps gets your point across. First of all they didnt film long enough to show the stiches because no one wants to watch that part of the procedure.Second of all its standard practice to do everything you typed in your comment. And back to my first point i am sure that if they would a filmed long enough you would of seen him put packing in *not always needed mind you* and then get stitched up.
Great vid, my only negative is that I wished the doc would have sliced the cyst after it was out to show the material in it. Yet overall an awesome vid, thanks for sharing!
@AndreaCruz I cannot seem to find a real solution of my face. A solution that will get me a long lasting clear skin im longing for.. Until I found this acne solution site StopAcneNow.co.cc.. And in just a short weeks, Ive seen a remarkable results!
Are you awake during the procedure? I have to get on removed on my Sternum and I really don't want the doctor to be flashing a scalpel and needles in front of my face.
I got one just like this removed today. It came out pretty slick but it pop open at first. I got a few stiches and then the doc cut it open so I could see it. It was gross but interesting. How weird are our bodies?!
how are cysts in the scalp formed? i know someone who had 8 and just got 2 removed.. but her head is so sore and she has headaches very often.. they told her they were hereditary, but no one in her family has them.. how can she get rid of them naturally?? AND is there a way to prevent ever getting them again??
could you please tell me if this hurts at all? i have one above my genital, in the pubic area, but havent got it checked out yet, and am scared of this surgery.
@HopedYallEnjoyed Nah-they numb you up really good for the minor surgery and it doesn't hurt at all afterwards-at least not for me. I had one removed from my scalp like this guy did, and the doctor told me to take some Tylenol if I developed any pain but I never had to take it because the site never hurt after the procedure.
@raewu The medicine they give prior to the removal must be really effective. I'm actually getting one of these removed myself, and until recently I have been so paranoid about if it hurts at all, and everyone has basically told me its painless aside from the initial shot, and maybe some slight soreness afterward, when the medicine they use to numb it wears off.
I got one removed from the back of my neck earlier today, came out in two pieces. Just felt a lot of tugging, wish it would've come out as smooth as this guy's.
@Heamer3222 Uh, uh-yours may come back. Mine came out in two pieces as well about 3 years ago & its slowly grown back-that's why I'm looking at this. I should have listened to my family doc. when he wanted to send me to a plastic surgeon for removal but I didn't want any issues with my insurance company here in Bermuda (they like trying to deny these types of claims when done by a plastic surgeon by saying it's 'cosmetic') so I went to a reg. surgeon-still s/h/b no prob. but the thing is back!
Holly shit!!!! That was pretty fucking sick, and I dont mean sick in a bad way, I mean that just slides right out, no poping, no hardcore squizing, just a slippery *yoink* and BAM! done.
Had three taken out last week. Doesn't hurt AT ALL, as the doctor gives you a little shot of local anesthesia around the cyst. Only takes a few minutes for each one, plus a stitch or two for each removal. Keep in mind, the doctor will shave the hair over the cyst, so you'll have a bald spot there for a week or two. But overall, its an easy procedure. You'll be happy when its done.
i think in my own opinion its just an uncontrolble zit getting revenge..for all of people watching this with one this offers small comfort as come on we aint that bothered to get rid of it as its not painfull and only noticed by the bearer ..its not inducing really waiting to get it popped by a Dr when next guy before you in list as cancer eating his/her guts out....kinda puts it into perspective
wow thats freaking sick, i fear i got one under my left armpit.. not quite as big lol, but though i dont know weather i should see a surgent or just wait, perhaps my body will take care of it.... hm
i went to the doctors to day and i have a cyst growing on the inside of my left hand and if its not gone by the end of november i have to go to the hospital and get my hand cut open and it removed
RomanByTheRiverside, that's better debating; some facts relating to the discussion, and no ad hominem attacks. On to your facts. So you were a freeloader in England (your medical care wasn't free, but you relied on others to pay for it for you), and you agree with me about Canada. Well then!

I just had this done, exact same place on back of head. Mine was the same size or slightly bigger - had 7 stitches to close the incision. Was totally awake but really didn't feel a thing. Looks way nastier than it is!!
Omg... I have three quarter-sized knots on my scalp. My friend who looked at them said they don't have heads on 'em so I guess they're not zits... they've been there for almost a year. I had really long, heavy hair for a while and I think it may have put too much pressure on my scalp because I'd never had them before... do you think it could be this? (I'm asking because you've gone through it) - they're hard and I can move them about, like they're below the skin but above the skull
i've had mine for a yr and a half! I just went to the doctor and she said that eventually it will become inflamed (have pus) and can cause a larger scar than is needed. So I quickly scheduled my app. But I suggest you get yours checked out by a doc to confirm it and have them removed professional.
i just got operated in the hospital because of that cyst located in my left part of my stomach. TT the most hurtful part for me is the injection XD because the anasticia isnt there yet. so it hurts.
he's not knocked out, for cysts they generally just numb the area and proceed forward, but in some cases for example if the cyst is in the throat, they have to have the patient unconscious.
how much does this thing cost? i have a few cysts that i really want to get removed and im pretty sure now that they are the same type as this..not as big though..please get back to me on the cost though thank you :-)
i have one of those in my ear, and it's weird. the first one was on my right ear and i popped it. it scabbed and went away. now i have another on my other ear like where you put headphones into. anyway i can do this without surgery?
Its best you go to a doctor to have that taken care of, it is possible to do it yourself but you wouldn't want to cause any damage to your ear. Best not to take any chances.
