You may notice it says Decisive British Victory. Then have a look around for casualties, you'll notice the RAF had less men, but lost less than the Lufftwaffe and killed more than the Lufftwaffe. I think the people of Libya should listen to this music. Finally, Gaddafi's government was fianlly overthrow by Libyan rebels backed by USA and NATO. After 42 years of dictatorship, the Libyans have finally got ridden of their dictator. Now Gaddafi is hiding like a rat now. Libya deserve more than having to stay under a 42 year rule of Gaddafi.

In the late 1910's and early 1920's, there was the Irish War for Independence, where the IRA, founded and led by Michael Collins, fought the British and defeated them which created the Irish Free State, which, after the civil war the followed the war for independence, eventually led to the Republic of Ireland, all thanks to the IRA defeating the British.

@Grymbaldknight in that day, all armies stood in lines and got shot, it was the strategy to dominate the field given their muskets. The only battle that was not fought that way was at Concord, MA and the harassment of the redcoats as they marched back to Boston. That was because most militias did not arrive in time to liine up (as they did in Lexington) and the redcoats didn't stop to line up because, on a police mission, they didn't have enough supplies for a full battle.

Secondly, I'm not an idiot, Germany wanted to invade Britain to complete it's domination of Europe, but in order to invade Britain it need to destroy the Royal Navy with the Luftwaffe, therefore needing to destroy the RAF in order to do so. @StudMuffin310 The Luftwaffe was better tha the RAF.You have to give credits to both sides.The RAF's best fighter ace was Erik Lock with a score of ONLY 22 fighters.The Luftwaffe had 10(!) aces with the highest score 42 and the lowest 18.The Germans lost the battle because of technical reasons and the stupidity of their leadership. 1.They didnt have enough bombers and all of them had a low capacity of bombs. 2.The Bf109 could barely be in range of southern England only...

You may notice it says Decisive British Victory. Then have a look around for casualties, you'll notice the RAF had less men, but lost less than the Lufftwaffe and killed more than the Lufftwaffe. Stop being a whining little arse. Accept the fact that the RAF are better. Get over it!

...for 5 minutes. 3.The Luftwaffe leadership wasted their efforts on many targets that were spread wide instead of planning attacks to one kind of targets (airfields or industry for example).Even the RAF leadership admitted that the damage that suffered Britain from the air raids was very small compare to effort that was given.
Thats why the Germans lost.If the RAF was the attacker and the Luftwaffe the defender the British woud have lost the battle.

Initially it focused on Airbases and Aircraft (The Battle of Britain)Then it turned it's attention to cities and industry. This was known as The Blitz. How is targeting one single factory (for example) going to stop the British war effort!? I think the people of Libya should listen to this music. Finally, Gaddafi's government was fianlly overthrow by Libyan rebels backed by USA and NATO. After 42 years of dictatorship, the Libyans have finally got ridden of their dictator. Now Gaddafi is hiding like a rat now. Libya deserve more than having to stay under a 42 year rule of Gaddafi.
It remind me when we used to rebel against the British tyrannically government in the 1700s.

In the late 1910's and early 1920's, there was the Irish War for Independence, where the IRA, founded and led by Michael Collins, fought the British and defeated them which created the Irish Free State, which, after the civil war the followed the war for independence, eventually led to the Republic of Ireland, all thanks to the IRA defeating the British.

@jcolossale Anglo-Dutch Wars / French and Indian War / Irish Rebellion of 1798 / Jacobite rebellions / etc etc thats not to mention any of the many wars won by just us english.
The French & Spanish & Dutch not only supplied the Americans with Weapons & Ammo but the french sent troops and ships to america and the spanish and dutch threatened to invade britain itself so basically the americans had the support of 3 powerful european countries.

@Grymbaldknight in that day, all armies stood in lines and got shot, it was the strategy to dominate the field given their muskets. The only battle that was not fought that way was at Concord, MA and the harassment of the redcoats as they marched back to Boston. That was because most militias did not arrive in time to liine up (as they did in Lexington) and the redcoats didn't stop to line up because, on a police mission, they didn't have enough supplies for a full battle.
