Ok guys I'm going to need some help...I am contemplating either getting a range rover hse(2003-2005 model most likely) or a 2003-2004 Cadillac escalade ext... Which is more reliable? Which is cheaper in insurance? and which one looks better rolling up to school in? Thank so much guys!

@paintballa124 Get the Range Rover if you have money. I have had both and the Rover is better for impressing people. The Escalade is cheaper on everything (maintenance, repairs, insurance). I have spent about 5 times more on my Rover than my escalade for repairs. I am 19 and insurance is about 300 a month on Escalade and 350 a month on Range Rover. Hope this helps!

@coolslaya im not disagreeing just saying that the issues they have arent a big deal for the type of people that buy em.. electrical issues is the main problem and they aren't something that makes the RR a un-reliable car.. i would think engine issues is more of an issue which the 06+ dont seem to have.. if babied they can last a long time !

Full size, that goes without saying. I've owned two RR's along with other SUV's and they were the most problematic (not all major mind you, simply often) and the hardest on gas. Like I said previously, great looking vehicles, and comfy, but problematic and way thirsty.

I think the new range rover. 2008 Is much better then the old.

Its also HSE but it have a better motor, not anylonger 4,4. Now its 3.8.

my dad have one, and this one is faster and very nicer then this one.

And as i know, there arent RR Sport with HSE technic? Only SE.

its pretty much like that without the dvd players, rear heated seats, heated steering wheel,backup cam, and the head lights. The 2000 is still a kickass car though. It definatly will not disappoint you.
