  • ilove this ride hope im going back soon

  • I WILL AGAINNN . .. .

  • I remember going on orange it was awesome so much g force movement.I also went on green then i realized that green and orange are totally different experiences and if you are planning to try this ride later on and if you have health problems don't do orange.

  • @crazyhatday they are two TOTALLY different beast's

  • The video truly does no justice to the true power and force of this ride. It is insane, but it's one of my favorite disney rides.

  • If i rode kraken in seaworld, would i be able to handle this ride?

  • omg i loved this ride but i was crying and screaming! and i was on a field trip with my school! lol

  • I puked in the black trashcan outside the door so did my mom but i loved it

  • I love this ride!

I was on the orange team, and was commander!

    Love the ride!

  • I got a bit nervous when the puke bag holder was empty when I got in, (I had to get one from the other side just in case) but in the end I was absolutely fine, it's really worth going on! If you are nervous like I was, try the green team first, then if you enjoyed that, get straight in lime for the orange team! You'll love it! And also try eating a banana and some water before going on it to reduce the chance of motion sickness! And always look straight at the screen!!

  • Man this thing was sooo realistic that it made me say "CAUSE BABY YOUR A FIAHHHHHHHH WAAAAHHHHK!!!"

  • how much ft is it

  • damn this shit messed me up so much, shoulda rode the less intense one

  • Thanks for putting this up. I have a nervous condition so I could never go on but now I know what it's like :D

  • 3 1/2 weeks and counting....cant wait

  • this ride is amazing! so real!!!

  • my favorite ride in all of WDW!

  • It looks like somebody cant take the intense version..... And I'm 11!!!

  • I rode this ride it was awsome!!! but i got really scared when they said "look straight ahead or you might get disoriented" freaky but i rode it and i had a blast!

  • made my day this ride me and my dad went on a sat with a small black lad and it was so realistic and as we lifted off he screamed lets do this Niggaaaaaaaaa made my day

  • i took it when i was like nine or something. i found it fun, even though i was really afraid. i thought that i was going to do something wrong, so we crashed or something. it felt really real.

  • i can pretty much go up to Space mountain. do you think i'd be able to handle this ride? it looks epic :D

  • This ride was awesome, but the orange side made me dizzy.

  • Green one was good orange one was crazy it made me sick

  • I looked at my dad on the orange, and when he noticed the barf bags, he kept saying,"I'm a good daddy"

  • I got nervous watching this even though it looks like the moderated version rather than the intense version(which I went on) you feel like you are drunk afterward and I had to sit down for a while when I was done to regain my balance

  • Wow, it's so different watching the ride as opposed to experiencing it. It was difficult suspending disbelief watching, but experiencing it, I barely noticed the HUGE discrepancy with *REALTIME* orders from Earth upon arrival at Mars. (The delay between Earth and Mars is enough to require mostly autonomous robotic operations on Mars.) Gary Sinise puts on a terrific performance and his star power contributes to the high quality of the ride experience that makes you WANT to suspend disbelief.

  • I rode this before they even had the soft side. It was excellent.

  • @CNDTV If you can do Star Tours, then you should be fine on the green version of this. There is no spinning, and just a little bit of tilting. On the green if you ever have a problem then just look away from the screen to the side and you should realize it is not that bad. The Orange on the other hand, if you have a problem with then hold on for dear life and wait it out. You don't want to look to the side on that one or you will get sick.

  • ah hi

  • @CNDTV I hate rollercoasters, but this ride is really good and I went on orange, which was fine :) It is a motion simulator

  • @CNDTV Ya

  • i went on tht ride and it was ssoo fun

  • I like the spinning one

  • ok im going to disney in November and i want to ask is this ride scaryy or fun? and if i did sorin could i do this also?

  • @jailamae98 Well I guess it can be both. It is not like a haunted house fear, but it is an extreme ride. So if you get scared on big roller costers then you may on this as well. That said, it is a great ride and a lot of fun. Also, you can always ride the green team side which is a lot easier.

  • @MickeyEarsCom: Perfectly said! I used to work for them... That's exactly what I would told him/her. Great job! You should try to be an ISTC (International Space Training Center.) member... X{P!

@MickeyEarsCom: Thank you so much for the good memories... I was lip-saying cause is not a song for lip-singing the whole video... And brought me so many good memories... I even now the girl that close your capsule... XD!!! Great video!!! And again thank you so much for the good memories!!!

  • @jailamae98 This is the Green Team. but thre is an Orange Team (which is better IMHO) It's a centrifuge producing 2.5G of force that you can seriously feel so if you don't keep looking forward and look to the side or close your eyes you stop your brain tricking itself into thinking that you're not spinning. Of course, if you suffer from motion sickness you shouldn't do it. If you don't like that idea then Green is for you, but that's only a normal motion sim, not the full ride. Enjoy :)

  • I went on this ride yesterday and had NO idea what I was getting myself into. If you go on the orange one (which I did) it's is intense. You can feel the pressure. It's fun that you get to see what it would be like to be an astronaut... but I think it's probably scarier than Soarin'. It's also really enclosed in, so don't gon on if you're claustrophobic. It was a neat ride but really uncomfortable. I panicked because your closed in and the pressure is insaneeee.

  • but you can pick green team (less intensity) or orange (more)... I'd try orange. I did even though I had no idea what was going to happen. You'll be glad you tried it afterwards, but it is that feeling of being blasted off and having no control of it..

  • @jailamae98 its fun and yes

  • @jailamae98 It's really claustrophobic ...it's insane

  • @jailamae98 i fainted when i was in line for it :/

  • @blazfuturama right back at ya. I was hung over friday morning but had to answer the bell for my 10 year old for the bonus hour at mgm . Tower of terror TWO times in a row, followed by rock n roller coaster TWO times in a row. as soon as I got off I lost it in the waste bin....root beer... (sorry for the details)...Disney mngt. came out of nowhere to tend to me. They were great. If mission space had an escape button I would have pushed it. You get scared waiting for for it!

  • @dumbbina ya, i completely understand, i dont mind rides like i LOVE rockin roller coaster, rode it 7 times, i think i was also sick cause i had had like trash for breakfast which was at 4:30 and i was tired and i get scared of loud noises and dark enviorments, which makes me question the fact that i love rockin roller coaster...

  • @blazfuturama you're like a deer in the head lights!! I'm strangely drawn to to tower of terror, even though it's murder! have fun!

  • @dumbbina lol, i dont mind things like that, i dont know why i fainted cause i wanted to ride, i love g-forces, i did a science project on them!

  • @blazfuturama be an astronaut then! you got the "right stuff"

  • @jailamae98 soarin is like boxing Macauley Caulkin. Mission Space is akin to to Mike Tyson

  • @jailamae98 the orange is a lot funner

  • @jailamae98 sorin is fun its a simulater mission space well if ur a begineer ride green team its less intense

  • @jailamae98 u cud do mission space if u did soarin and this ride iz awesome and both scary and fun!!!!!1

  • @supaflychica18 do the animals realy talk 2 u or just wave an stuff

  • We rode this 3 times when we went to the Epcot park. Second favorite ride next to the rock'n rollercoaster.

  • I Dont Like Simoulator Rides like this! I always Puked in the middle on the ride! And Why they made this ride to make people Get fun and Pukie

  • @davidcisneros8 I was looking for a pail as soon as I got off!

  • @dumbbina i have a funny story for u lol. i went a few years ago when i was 12 and i rode test track and then when we came to this i fainted in line, and threw up in the line for test track o.O

  • i cant do that ride im closterphbic ( <- sry dont know how to spell that word ) but the ride looks fun

  • i rode both but i puked on the orange one

  • you get to push buttons?................. lucky

  • Omg the pressure on this ride was so fucking much, it was like being tickled by chuck norris for 2 mins. I could feel it after i left

  • I remember this ride being really fun last time I went. (About 5 years ago)

  • what's the difference between the green side and the orange side

  • @taylonkeezy08 green is for people who don't want it to be more intense orange team is for people want it to be real intense

  • Is this green team or orange team?

  • Awsome ride on of the best you must ride it

  • i must admit i was sceared waiting for this ride but it was the best thing ive ever done!

  • If I can handle Rock N Roller Coaster and its G's with no problem, do you think I'll be okay with this? I may/may not ride the Orange version when I go to DIsney next week. :)

  • @mcrfreek89 Give it a try, you should have fun!

  • @mcrfreek89 orange version is really fun! but i suggest that you dont eat before you ride it XD

  • @mcrfreek89

Yeah, you'll have lots of fun on it!

I went on this when I was 8, i did make me feel slightly sick for about 10 seconds, but i got used to it :-)

I'm going in August and plan to go on it again.

    Have fun!!

  • @mcrfreek89 i been on this ride 13 times and rock n roller coaster 4 time and you feel pretty much the same amount of G's.

  • @mcrfreek89 well now that you're back...how was it??

  • @mcrfreek89 Is not the same... But if you do good with Spinning... You'll be more than good. If you[re not... Then try the green one... You'll see is not enough (You can do rock n' roller coaster...) You'll want to try the orange side. If you are in busy holiday time... Go and get a fast past or ask for a rider swap... X{P I never said that ok... n,...,~!!!

  • whatis this ride like?

does it flip you or what cuz i don't get it?

  • @joejonas1319 No flips, but it will spin around on the orange side and you will tilt side to side and front and back on both green and orange teams. It is an intense but fun ride.

  • @MickeyEarsCom

    oh ok

so it just moves around really fast ....

    thankyou :)

i might go on it this july

but i don't know cuz eveyone wants to go to magic kindgom this time since we where at epcot but didn't get on this :/

    it sucks haha

oh sorry im just going on and on...

  • @joejonas1319 ment kingdom

  • @joejonas1319 HECK NO, (I've only been on green :( . )

  • Man I love the look in the space ship simulator it's so awsome

  • did you get permission or did you sneek it on

  • @Drago2097 well my policy has been to listen to when they ask for no video. The cast members saw me in the pre-show and everywhere except for the actual ride, though I would guess I was probably seen on a security camera inside the ride as well.

  • @MickeyEarsCom ohhhh i see. so you didn't get permission you just took it on the ride. Thx for telling me. Peace Out.

  • @MickeyEarsCom so you just video tape when a sign says ur aloud or do u just do it anyways

  • @Drago2097 If they have a sign or say on the speakers, no video taping. Then I do not do it, but if they don't say anything then I presume it is permited. For example, I do not film in the hall of presidents. Because they say not to. I have even removed a video because a disney employee contacted me letting me know that they started to say it for the Huricane ride in Epcot. Where as at the time when I recorded the video opening week they did not say it.

  • @MickeyEarsCom ohhhhhh, now i get it i might go to walt disney world this year in the summer thx for telling me this

  • @Drago2097 Have a fun trip, take some videos and post them. Come back here and let us know how your trip was.

  • @icomco ok sure will do maybe.

  • umm cool

  • I went on this before it was officially opened, when they were giving previews about a month or two before. Really a great ride, and intense. I stay very loyal to my orange, though. ;)

  • You think thats bad, I went in the orange more intense. NOW THATS A RIDE!!!!

  • i went on this ride and i tell you it was realy good realy realy well made

  • this and the tower of terror are my favorite rides EVER!!! i should post my vids.... cant wait to go back one day!

  • I definitely enjoyed the Intense ride, but in May i'll be with my family and I doubt they'd even consider it, so Green it is.

  • Green or Orange?

  • The video was done on Green, I figured it would be easier to video tape.

  • I know they tell you not to but boy did I find out why :) I closed my eyes for a split second as I thought the screen mivement was making me feel I'll... Snapped them straight open again let me tell you! lol

  • I hear ya on that, it is a very intense ride.

  • @ lalarkin: well, doesn't every ride in existence have the same warnings? if so, then you should have just assumed this would be no exception, right? not calling you dumb or anything, i'm just saying

  • Well I guess I get what you are saying, but the warnings on this ride are far beyond the typical sign at the front. The fact that they have it as part of the video, they hand you a card with the warnings while you wait in line and the signs are much bigger. I am not sure what else they really could do in a ride like this that wouldn't unjustly scare riders away.

  • @MickeyEarsCom well they could do what Sea World and Busch Gardens does and read it over the PA every 10 to 15 mins.

  • I mean it is a safe ride for the standard rider and if you are someone that falls into one of those unsafe categories, like a pregnant woman, someone with heart issues or back issues, etc... you should be aware of your case and be on the look out on every ride to make sure it is safe for you. I think the sad cases are instances when someone is not aware of their health issue and ends up finding out about it on the ride, however they could have just as easily found out in some other way.

  • ok, i see what u mean. my apologies :)

  • no appologies needed, sorry if I came off testy. I just get fustrated because I hear it all of the time with this ride and think, I don't know what else they could do aside from closing the ride. Which is the last thing I want, we have a lot of fun on it.

  • I get your point to though, because they are the same warnnings, just rather than one sign they are all over the place. But I can see that if you road something like StarTours and thought hey they had the same warnnings you would be right, but boy there is a difference in the ride for sure.

  • best ride ever

  • fun ride

  • A very cool ride, but OMG I have never felt so sick on a ride! My advice.. NEVER close your eyes on it. Bluergh!

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • Mission: Space, like any other ride at EPCOT, at Disney World, gives you warnings about the attraction you are about to participate in. Even though they don't specifically say if you have a certain condition, they expect you to understand that if they aren't lettting someone with one condition get on, then you aren't getting on . While they do need to be more explicit, it's expected of anyone to know that. I HATE that when people get sick or die & blame Disney for it. >:(

  • Well plus they hand you the card green or orange that you have to carry up to the front thru the line. All over it there are warnnings about this. The also have a large sign before you go into the line and I belive a smaller one at the little umbrella out front. Then the video that you watch before hand reviews this. So I think they have made a good effort to be clear.

  • I think it is also worth mentioning that this ride is safe, just that certain people have health conditions that should not ride. These same people may have issues with lots of rides at Disney or any other park. If they know they have an issue it's their responsibility to be aware of this and if unsure ask. Though I do feel bad for those that are unaware of their condition, which I know that one little boy died on this ride because he was not aware of his condition.

  • I rode it about 10 days ago. Intense is an understatement. Seriously, I believe the ride is life threatening for anyone with any history of heart disease. I am a heart patient and knew I was in trouble five seconds into it. Disney would be well advised to issue much stronger warnings specifically for heart patients. Had such warnings been posted, I would never have ridden it. I never will again.

  • omg i leave today to work there!!!!

  • this ride was cool, I liked it because it made you feel like you really went to space it was amazing. But like people said it is intense, well at least the intense ride side. I was the navigator.

  • IF you really think about it... when you sling shot around the moon, the speed and timing it shows on this ride, there would be so many G's, you wouldnt survive it.

  • which team were yall on? i was on the orange team.that is the team where it spins the fasties. the green team looked a little too sloww for me i miss disney world sooo much!!!

  • i go to disney once a year and on going on the 21 of january and i love this ride its so fun oh ya and on time they couldent start up the ride since a bird was on top of a anttena on the top of the ride then some guy yelled out hit it with a bat!it was so funny

  • im going the 23rd !

  • well actully my mom told me that im not actully going on the 21 im going on the 23 no lie!lol

  • if you got motion sickness problems, should you avoid this ride?

  • Yes for sure!

  • as said before yes, i don't normally get motion sickness ever on rides but had the biggest headache after coming off this.

  • such a gd ride when u go up in space its such a wierd felling u deont know what part of your body 2 hold

  • Thank you for posting this! It brings back good memories. :)

  • i'm going to disney world at the beginning of January and i can't wait to ride this! i've been to disney world 1 time before, when i was 8 (i'm 12 now) so i don't really remember that much of this ride except for the fact that it was INCREDIBLY AWESOME and when we were walking out, me and my family smelled vomit O.o ... but i CANT WAIT!

  • i went yesterday to epcot on the orange team an dlet me tell u....that was so cool and no way that u can have that feeling everyday :)

  • Hey that guy is from forest gump! haha

does anything happen if someone doesn't press a button?

  • They just say that they over ride that button and the computer pressed it for you or something like that.

  • oh.

    okay:D

  • i got on in the orange team and it is so not for me. next time i'll try the green team.

  • I went to the orange part, it felt like I was actually being pushed against the seat and turning up and down!I wonder how they do that.

  • it SPINS at 80 mph its awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg is the ride tht bad goin for my fourth time at xmas not bn on it yet think myt go on it this time

  • omfg, i went here today and rode this ride an astounishing, count 'em, 9!!!! times!!!! that's right, i rode this ride 9 straight times

  • ive been on this and the GFORCE is ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGGGG

  • Wow i want to go on that when i go next year.... for my second time , i didn't go on this the first time i went but man my heart was beating out of my chest.

  • bien chiroliro el game me encanto es lo que mas me gusto de epcot lo visite en este 2009

  • this ride is awesome, makes you feel so weird!! i was so scared when they said you couldnt move your head or close your eyes and you had to keep your head back at all times, i was like whaaat?!! love it though :)

  • the intense version is wayy better. you actully feel like your in space. and you have wayyy more fun. i was on the intense. i almost stayed in there for the next ride

  • That ride is great it acctually feels like ure in space the G Force is great!!!!

  • I went on this like 10 times!

my bro was to sick to go on it againn xD

  • The G-force of this ride is really xtreme...only ride I've ever gotten sick from...felt dizzy after the ride, sat down for 30 min and when I stood up...threw up...LOL

  • it was xtreme

  • I love this ride. I've been fortunate that I haven't had anything happen yet.

My cousin who loves the ride though always looks he is going to throw up when the ride is over.

  • ii have been onn it AMAZINGG :D

  • I Cant wait too try this ride,i have been before but been to scared too ride it :)

    Space here i come!!!

  • i went on the orange team. I might be going to florida next year, this ride made me feel sick !! it was when your going up into space and the g-force is huge!!! im not sure if i will be going back on the orange one agaiin =/

  • 5:23 was the worst part. The doors close and your locked in there. It's tight!

  • is the more intense ride scary at all??

  • For everyone it is different, but I would say it can be.

  • i ADORE this ride but my sister and I rode it near the 4th of july and a ton of school groups were there and cut in front of us so we ended up waiting 3 and a half hours for this ride. not worth the wait. but i would definately wait up to 1 1/2 hours. its good =] (and I went on the spinning one and it does feel awesome!)

  • when this ride first came out diddnt people say bad things happened??

  • The ride was a bit more intense when it first opened. Since then they have added a green team (no spinning) for the less intense experience and also turned back the orange team a bit.

  • Absolutely on of my favorites at Disney World! A MUST ride!

Last time I went my wife yelled at me for pushing all the buttons and flicking all the switches on the control panel during the ride. What can I say? I felt like a little kid again. : )

  • I do the samething...

  • what happens if u don't click the button?

  • The system well, do it's self, I think mission control will do it or something like that. It would be kind of neat if it would change based on that, but I think the majority of the people would be lost in space and never end up at mars then.

  • nothing

  • wow, this is unbelievable.

  • can you even breath and were are the barf bags placed im going next week

  • Yes, you can still breath and they do have bags right on the console between each person at the ready.

  • wait why does everyone keep saying orange team? does it matter? i havent been to disneyworld just disneyland

  • orange team means the ride is more intense. You witness some G's as orange team while green team "i think its green" is a lot less intense, its for the younger or more sensitive crowd.

  • ah, well im glad someone straightened that out for me. thanks and eh not to be all advertising like other youtubers but you shoud take a look at my channel maybe you'll like it maybe not

  • you should go to disney world

  • oh man I would love to go, but unfortunatley for me I live in Arizona sooo thats probably not gonna happen anytime soon. But once once I graduate we're planning a trip over there for two weeks.

  • the setup outside andiside is amazing

  • I agree this is one of the best looking attractions at night. I also like test track as well, you can tell a lot of thought went into the design for this night time lighting.
