Coffeescup, I found your website last year and lost it again. I found you again tonight. Your voice haunts me. I hope you are fully recovered from your operation. Keep on singing and posting. Tony
OMG! A lovely song and an awesome voice. I stumbled across your channel while looking for other versions of "True Love Will Find You In The End" (yours is terrific). Lucky me, now I guess I'll have to track down your CD.
absolutely beautiful!:-) met you via gerdenshed, today---just bouncin' around.....genius to carry out music where you were,....much respect for that......I'm sure anyone within earshot was delighted, as is this listener.
Saw a mention of your channel on Doug Payne's (coomadoug) CDbaby page and I'm glad I did. This is a very nice song, I love the how the A lifts the song as you head into the depth of the chorus.
Great voice! I don't think I've seen any 'songs from the hospital bed' before,....interesting concept.....Although I suppose you didn't have much choice. Hope you recovered fully.
I see why you would say this but really to me 'no twang, no Ritchie'. Ritchie has a markedly southern-ish twang in her voice, while the singer of this song has none of that whatsoever. But I do love this!
so i just downloaded your album and im excited to see my favorite song by on there-At Sea. Keep on making music, you remind me of mid 60's folk rock, which by any standards is the greatest music ever created, besides the whole concert of woodstock.
I just tried googling "piquant pariah publishing", and all the results led back to you! So I suppose you ARE them. That means all these songs are your own work!! Then why on earth don't you boast the fact? You are far too modest.
Sometimes we have the opportunity to see beauty in its purest form...not contrieved... not stained and polished... just raw, unfiltered, untouched by editors, draped in gowns in a hospital bed. And yet, I've not had my soul pierced so profoundly. Your voice and humility touch me. Thank you for the rarest of gifts we share with each other...honesty.
Such a courageous song and performance! Your 'forever' here is so different from the 'forevers' in those romantic old songs I play. I have to say I was afraid to open up to this song before watching your latest vlog. Just from our one meeting and hearing your songs here I already 'cared too much', and was afraid to inquire about your hospital stay. Thanks for reminding me how good tears can be.
I must thank you, albeit indirectly, for sending this talent my way.
I actually heard your duet and then began unfurling her gifts; it was almost like Christmas in April!
What a haunting song.
I had only 2 tears but they're still wet on my cheeks.
I'm almost 49 and my son is only 4, and all of forever may mean after death, as life has a way of mysteriously starting & stopping. So fragile, our lives and loves; I worry about my son, some days. I could totally relate to this.
omy gosh! that is so beautiful I want to cry! You are such a brave and strong soul...I feel the emotion that you are sharing in your song...my prayer is that you are well very soon:) oman sucha a tear jerker...as a mother its so painful to think of leaving a child...tearful...you are so beautiful to share your heart with strangers.
i felt very different at the time while i was waiting for the surgery. it just made me reconsider everything. i hope they were good tears. ty for sharing.
Omg, Coffee ... I am sooo glad I listened to this after getting the news that everything went well with your surgery. These pregnancy hormones are killing me, lol.
Oh ,my!that was an intense, amazing, life altering, compassionate, mind numbing, beautifully spoken, inspiring piece of work you got there!!Stars matter not!
thanks dave for sharing....coffeecup has a tone and quality to her vocals that is very sticking and unique. she does a lovely job. i can see myself playing this song on my stero with wine.
Surprisingly good acoustics for a hospital room! I have a weakness for songs of this sort; parents and children bonding. You sing like a bird, reminescent of Joni and perhaps Mary Oldfield. So sorry that you are ailing. I pray your stay in the hospital is short and that full recovery is quick in coming. I'd love to write a song for your voice some day soon. Would you be interested? Check out some of my originals to see if we "get" each other. God bless you. ~Jon

It's all our hands clasping,
And then, they're unclasping,
But you'll never know, how I felt your absense
Your bravery, you're brave for me...
You're light how it shone,
and then to have it missing. So... ('nuff said, beautiful!)
