Advice to anyone crossing here: The hotels on the Dajabon side fill up the night before the market days. So if you are planning to stay overnight before heading onward to Santo Domingo on these nights, arrive early and be prepared to go to the next town if there are no rooms. I didn't see any acceptable hotels in Ouanaminthe from the main road.
