They will grow about 10-16ft....some have been known to be 18ft long. and perhaps as thick as a typical thigh. check out my vid. w/ my red tail.

Actually, a Red-Tail boa (BCC) and a Columbian boa (BCI) are different species.

that snake aint a year old, i have a columbian boa hes only 4 month old an he is like 25 inch long, he gets 1 rat pup every 6-7days. yours looks more like 5 month old to me, eather that or your not feeding it enough

shes perty F ing small for being a year old hell my 4 month old male is 27 inchs and my 4 month old female is 30 inchs and i in no way power feed my herps. from what i can c your boa will most deff not hit the ten foot mark, on average female bci only reach 7-8 feet long, i dont mean to rain on your party or nothing but thats just the way it is

Everyone I know are frightened to death of snakes. I'm thinking that snakes won't attack humans unless absolutely hungry and dead set on eating the person, or because of provocation. I personally enjoy them but the only way I can see any of them is at the zoo, which I rarely go.

Some snakes can be nervous by nature, but a lot of species can be tamed through regular handling. This behaviour is a result of stress most likely due to improper handling. I 'll sugest to do more research and try to understand what is causing it to be stressed out.

He was new to his environment and mayve a little stressed out...I've been handling him every day now, and he has adjusted well. Mite can make snakes behave aggitated too, and I killed all those bastards off
