It had the best fighters and put together the best matchups. there's been some cards that literally had 5 to 7 matches that would have headlined a UFC main event. Not to mention Pride had Sakuraba the most entertaining fighter in MMA history. also gotta say i loved the yellow card where they decucted 10% of the fighters purse for stalling or illegal tactics.

Much respect to both fighters. I have multiple friends who have met Wand and they all say he's just a cool dude, down to Earth and will chat with anyone. His tenacity and power back in the PRIDE days was a thing to behold, and he was such a dominant champion.

I agree as well, it would be awesome to see CC start putting people on the mat again. His chin has become fragile over the years, partly due to that ridiculous head kick by Gonzaga. Still, I'll cheer on CC for as long as he fights.
