Can anyone tell me what documentary this clip is from? There was a clip online a while ago of her playing Everyday on the Celeste from this documentary but I can't find it online now.
A couple of oh so smooth RIPP OFF Shysters who took Buddy Holly to the cleaners and lived off of him like a pimp does on his whores. Norman recorded some nice tunes but basically him and Vi got most of the cash like so many piece of shit managers back then. Buddy would have never taken that lame Winter Dance Party tour had these two ASSHOLES released HIS money, as he needed cash Norman was a shrewd Prick and VI a Lesbo Leach!--Fuck them both!!
what an exciting piece of history of my birthplace... wonder if this woman knew my mother or any of my family... thanks for the posing... Nostalgia at its finest~!
Norman Petty's studio in Clovis doesn't have the same reps as Sun, Stax or Motown A but it probably should. I hope it's still there and is open to the public.

@enigmath Yes, the woman in this video is Vi Petty who played the "celesta" on the original recording of Everyday.

As of the mid-late 80's, the studio was restored to more closely resemble it's 1950's state. The apartment in the back is really nice. Cheers
