  • I still can't get over the fact that Telly Leung is in this. I will always know him as Warbler Wes though.

  • "How about this?" "No No No (gets on the floor and slides away from the sweater) No No No!" I love Angel!!!! :)

  • I love this part...the confusion is lovely...lool...and after everything.."Its beginning to snow"

  • @Clairemarie231

I do hope you meant Benny, not Collins...

  • "We're Okay" is actually one of my favorite songs from the musical, lol, and Tracie does it so well!

This entire cast is amazing. Auuuugh. Especially Adam and Will (Mark and Roger); 3:52-4:31, gah. They have so much chemistry.

  • Does mark have AIDS too?? I'm confused xD

  • @PadfootLivesFree

No. Mark, Maureen, Joanne, and Benny don't have AIDS (as far as the storyline tells us).

  • and it's beginning to....snow.

  • "She's a thief!"

    "But she brought us together."

    Eternal smiles.

  • All Mark can think of is Maureen - 4:22 and so not over her "I am over her" 6:20 - poor thing

  • We're doing Rent for a company here and I'm in the Chorus. This song is such a cluster of everything. It's crazy!!! everyone comes in at crazy times lol.

  • am I the only one who notices that the quality is kinda messed up??

  • I know Tracie Thoms wasn't the original Joanne, but she is still epically amazing

  • how they ever thought of getting rid of we're okay in the movie, I'll never know. Also Christmas Bells too. That's just sad :(

  • 'Kiss me it's beginning to snow' :D

  • 0:30, I have to wonder, what is the paper plate for????

  • "We're Okay" is the greatest song in the whole production!

  • at the biggining of this cast I didn't like the one playing Angel now I ca only LOOOVE and laugh! ^^

  • "Didja cheat on Mark alot would you say?"

    LOL

  • This seen with Joann on two phones is the best of this production. I love it. Its the same Joann from the movie wich means she is the only cast of this production to work with most of the origenal cast. Even if it was only in the movie.

  • I just knit some fingerless gloves that look just like mimi's :D

  • Angel has a cute smile

  • Angel at 3:40. What a fashionista. Brava.

  • I Love Joanne 1:13

    I like this place :D 5:24

  • I LOOOOOVE Joanne, the look on her face as she mock-strangles the phone...BWAHAHAHA!!

  • I'm going to be singing "It's beginning to snow" all night now.

I love the ensemble in this, they are amazing.

  • Im confused about everyones history

Collens didnt know angel before they met in the ally, but mimi did? (She talks about the first time she met angel and this skinhead was bothering her) and when mark and mimi meet, mimi says "i think we've met" So did mimi know angel and mark know mimi before they started dating rodge and collens?

  • mark says it actutally....maybe its just a joke that hes gone to the cat scratch club? lol

  • Mimi used to go out with Benny. Benny, Mark, and Roger used to live in the same apartment. Thats how Mimi and Mark already know each other. As for Mimi knowing Angel I do think they already knew each other but im not sure.

  • @H2i5P1H2O5P1

Well, in the movie Mark asks Roger about "The girl from the Cat Scratch Club". So it's possible that both Mark and Roger remember her from seeing her strip.

  • there's about 25 plot errors....lol

  • @BlackValleyRequiem Mimi knew Angel before. Mark remembers Mimi because she used to date Benny so yes, Mimi knew Angel and Mark prior to roger.

    I think thats right....

  • @BlackValleyRequiem You also have to remember that Roger just got back from a year of rehab... So at the beginning of the musical he just recently returned... During that time, Mimi probably dated Collins... and met Mark and what not... And then when Roger came back, everyone had broken up. :) Hope this helped.

  • I love the way this scene just pulls everything together.

  • I LOVE "WE'RE OKAY"

  • lol!: "Lets not hold hands yet."

    "Is that a warning?"

  • What's the name of the guy who says honest living?

  • steve. i think telly leung is the actor's name.

  • i love that part wen they are lookin 4 a coat 4 collins n that chick olds up that 1 jumper n he is like "NO" and points his foot at it so funny.I love that even with this musical being about serious issues like AIDS and being cold and poverty but i love how the seriousness is not all that the musical has to offer it has alot of funny parts as well lol.

  • Bawk bawk bawk! "That chick" is Angel. :P

  • no im talkin about that is like homeless n selling the jackets

  • That's gwen, she was part of the original cast. played joanne at one point as well.

  • wow seriously awesome thanks for telling me

  • the first song is immence

  • Wow, the honest living person is so annoying and funny at the same time, lol. I love the little thing Angel did at 3:42 , so cute. :P When everyone is singing at the same time from 5:47 - 7:07 it's beautiful. Maureen's appearance at the end is so so epic. Awesome.

  • I love joanne

  • Honest living!

    Honest living!

    Honest living!

    Honest living!

    Honest living!

... and it's beginning to snow!

  • Maureen's entrance is so much more epic in this version! They kind of killed the suspense of her arrival in the film by having her appear in "The Tango Maureen"

  • I love Christmas Bells, it's my favorite song in the production

  • Is That Tracie Thoms as Joanne?

  • Yea, the same Joanne from the movie. Ilove her!!!

  • 3:43 is hilarious.

  • no ones buying fell like crying lol

  • i LOVE gordon's voice in this part!! especially 'and it's beginning to snow'

    amazing singer!

  • i know, but he left them out of the actual movie. that's what i meant :)

  • goodbye love is my favourite song of the entire show, however- movies are different medium and- like the phonecalls and christmas bells, some things work well on stage but not so well on screen.

  • exactly

  • 1:44 and 2:07. HAHAHAHA!

  • gotta love jonathan larson ;)

  • christmas bells is definantly one of my favourite songs in RENT. why did they cut it out of the movie?

  • because chris columbus ruins everything.

  • LOLLLLL!!!

    i don't think so actually..

i think he interpreted it as something that was not important, just like the voicemails and the phonecalls.

kind of understandable, though. time is valuable.

i really don't understand why he left 'Halloween' out and the second part of 'Goodbye, Love'. those are so important to give a better understanding of the characters.... :S

  • and Halloween isn't part of Goodbye love... Halloween goes BEFORE goodbye love....look at the soundtrack and Halloween and goodbye love part 2 and 3 are in disc 2 (part 2 being between mark and roger, part 3 being mimi crying "goodbye love")

  • so u sayin he ruined Home Alone??

  • it's one of those thins that can't be well intrepreted fem the stage to the scree. it's a more abstract song, so it would be harder to understand and adapt in a movie. it's my favorite song too though! : P

  • 3:43!

  • LOL! I love that!! It even reminds me of Stewart of MadTV. haha.

  • That's my b-day, but I'm seeing something on Broadway.

  • I think we can all agree that jonathan larson was obviously a gift to us from god, and had he not died (quite tragically) he would still be here blessing us with more wonderful shows today

  • fucking great!!
