  • lml!!! whoever is below me had me rollin wait til Mr.P sees this haha

  • Humanities class for mr P!!!!!

  • why the hell were they shooting at them as if they were shooting at an entire brigade of nazis armed with bazookas and tanks.

  • HEY I'M STILL ALIVE!

  • 1:28 RATTATATATATATTATATTATATTATTATTATTATTATTATTATTATTATTATATTAT

  • I always wondered about the role of the two black guys that came along in the car right before the shooting started. Were they the decoys to signal everybody to start shooting? Or did the shooters have to go ahead and start firing earlier than expected in order to keep the guys in the car from getting into the line of fire?

  • They deserved it.

  • That was surprisingly intense for an older movie. I love it.

  • By the standards of 1967, which is when this film came out, a violent scene like this was essentially without precedent.

  • 1:27 - :51 24 second shooting.

  • this was a little sad, becuase they were happy and in love, but they did kill and rob banks,so it was coming to them.

  • Not necessarily overkill. They just wanted to make sure they were actually dead. Remember, 5 gunshots and George Wallace still survived.

  • Seems like a little bit of overkill to me. I think after the 50th bullet or so, they were already dead.

  • What a waste of a 34 Ford. I think they sold that car at Barret-Jackson a few years back, still shot all to pieces.

  • Lovely ending. Not really as bloody as I expected. But it's definitely a beautiful ending. Well, beautiful in the sense that the last look Bonnie and Clyde shared in the film is just horribly romantic.

  • @lovemcr07

Have you even seen the film? I doubt it, judging by your comment and the name you have. My mother recommended it to me when I was 15, the ending was a shock not simply due to the violence but because it comes out of nowhere.

  • Bang bang youre dead.

  • Is the car okay?!

  • two words: holy shit

  • The bush killed them??

  • 1:28 - 1:51 Sorry I thought you were a deer.

  • CANT WAIT FOR THE REMAKE

  • i didnt watch the movie so this scene was just awkward for me

  • Brutal

  • haha is it just me or what but the shooting sound seem quite realistic n 4 60s movie 2 have that is just mind blowing...i think heat michael mann should owed a thank u 2 bonnie n clyde movie 4 that major influence in making realistic shooting lolz

  • Some day they'll go down together;

    They'll bury them side by side;

    To few it'll be grief--

    To the law a relief--

But it's death for Bonnie and Clyde.

  • このラストシーン、ショックだった。

  • This is a classic film, but I always think that Beatty and Dunaway overact when they're being shot. Beatty dances and writhes on the ground. I know it's supposed to be cinematic effect, not cinema verite - but still.

  • They got fucked up!

  • JOHN MCCAIN AND SARAH PALIN GETTING POSITIVELY OWNED.

    YEE HAW!

  • wow

  • CLASSIC :))))

  • This is, quite possibly, the best ending for a movie. Ever. It's not the big, overdone, extremely bloody "obviously trying too hard" kind of thing that you would expect to see today.

On a random note, I have a friend who's related to Clyde. I went to her grandparents house, and they showed me the family tree. It was pretty cool, for some reason.

  • oh shit lol o_o

  • goddamn

  • ouch.

  • Faye Dunaway should've won the Oscar for this.

  • 1:27

It's amazing how in a split second, Faye Dunnaway can convey so much with just a facial expression. When I first saw this I immediately recognized the pain and love in her eyes. Beautiful.

  • @patient451

and her scream when the shots came too,she is an amazing actress,a little underrated i think

  • @patient451

She wasnt making any particular face, it was just the camerawork...

  • @frother I didn't say she made a face, I said she conveyed a lot in her facial expression. If you can look at Faye Dunaway in that split second and tell me you don't see an entire world of love, admiration, pain and sorrow then you've missed something beautiful. That isn't camerawork.

  • @frother You could see the emotion though, even though it wasn't a definite "face". Tons of inferences and emotions can be taken from it which is what makes Dunaway one of the 60's film legends.

  • Faye Dunaway is smokin' hot.

  • Even if they had been taken alive, they would have gotten the chair anyway, at least Clyde would have.

  • Crazy cops, man. Sure they were wanted crooks, but they were unarmed.

  • @BcallingDB

Yes, they were also known for making daring escapes, usually involving guns.

  • @BcallingDB They were much worse than crooks, they were murderers and it's pretty clear they had no intentions of ever going to prison.

  • Should have shot the rat first

  • the other thing is that this death scene is kinda surprisingly suger-coated

the officers used BARS, shotguns, and .45 calibur pistols, all 3 were way more powerful than tommy guns

not to mention the 2 nearly got ripped to shreds, bonnie had a hole blown in her face =O

  • *video game voice*- "FLAWLESS VICTORY"

when i saw this as a kid holy crap this was one of the most shocking scenes ever

  • To anyone that said "I think bonnie got the worst of it" she did in real life too, she was shot more. but come to think of it, they both died pretty quickly, so I think it was an eaqual giving no?

  • Holy cow. Nasty way to die. A bit out of hand seeing that Clyde died inside the car next to Bonnie and not out of the car.

  • lots of bullets

  • Older movies like this with shootouts that happen in real time always look way more realistic and arresting.

  • Eddie Van Halen ROCKS......

  • @lonestar225 Damn Straight hahaha that was so random!

  • brutal

  • Good movie, but not at all how it really went down. Law enforcement opened fire as soon as the car came to a halt; Clyde never got out. And the cops were using full-auto .30-06 caliber B.A.R.'s, not tommy guns.

  • Great movie, but not how it really ended. They actually pulled up to a secret mailbox that the cops knew about. The cops opened fired without a word killing them both in their seats. But this is a nice hollywood ending too.

  • After all the people they killed, they deservied it

  • I guess they decided to take artistic license for the death scene seeing how it was made more dramatic and not a faithful rendition of the real way it ended.

    Oh well^^

  • if they didnt make this movie, we wouldnt have the r rating

  • no matter how many times i see the ending, i'm always like "shit, look out you guys!"

not like the outcome will ever be different, or like they even had a chance against the ambush, but it's certainly a testament to how much this movie draws you in.

  • PWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All right folks, Maybe the movie was built up for us but it was a great flick.

  • It's innacurate - both bonnie and clyde were in the car when the cops ambushed them. Incidentally, their level of deadly force was not excessive, considering that they killed about 14 people, most of whom were officers.

  • ya we know this

  • what's wrong with the camera?

  • These were two petty crooks: Clyde preferred robbing small stores and their biggest haul was about $1000. Bonnie was never known to carry a gun. Their exploits made them infamous. It's true that Barrow's gang was involved in the murders of lawmen and their crime spree was dreadful. Nevertheless, having 6 officers each armed with shotguns and machine guns emptying their weapons into just two people is WAY excessive.

  • bonny was never know to carry a gun ? then whys there a picture of her holding a gun retard ? LOL @ you

  • I think what he meant is USE a gun. By all accounts, Bonnie never fired one in a gun battle. She was however, great at reloading them.

  • That's not true. In Blanche's memoirs, she mentions Bonnie firing one during one of the shootouts.

  • Wasn't that bad,there was pretty much no gore.Panzies.

  • Clyde never did get the chance to get out of the car they were ambushed and that was their final moment on earth..

  • The look in her eyes that split second that they realize they are gonna get killed is the best romantic scene ever. awesome

  • I remember people walking out of the theatre stumbling and shocked at this ending...

  • they got blowed up REAL good!!!

  • ENDING IS WRONG BOTH WERE IN THE CAR

  • this ending in the clip is inaccurate. clyde barrow never got out of the car. the machine guns didn't not fire all out once. one shot was fired by a ranger with a rifle. it hit clyde in the head. then the car started moving because clyde let the clutch out because he was dead. the rangers thought he was getting away, then the ranger all opened fire on them with bar, shotguns and pistols.

  • @statetrooper012 It's a movie- this is the way the screenwriter wanted it. It's more dramatic. Get over it.

  • One of the best endings ever.

  • Did Bonnie actually ever kill anyone?..

  • The other officers might have used BAR's, but Frank Hamer used the .35 Remington Model 8 and a special 20-round magazine for it . For a pistol he prefered the Colt Auto in .38 Super,

(NOT .38 Special), which he believed penetrated car bodies better then the .45. He also carried a "cowboy' .45 Colt Single Action for his "Lucky" back-up gun.

  • she´s got the look

  • Justice

    No lawyers getting rich.

No space taken up in jail.

    No tax dollars for years

    then came the liberals. OMG

  • hauphd-

Only prosecutors getting rich & fat

    Only Newspaper-King Hearst getting rich

Only tax dollars spent on fucking cops who are just as bad

Only PRISONS AND CHAIN GANGS AND LYNCHINGS...

Yeah, I'm gonna wipe my ass with your flag and sing star-spangled bummer, and throw a bunch of flowers to Bonnie and Clyde.

  • wow.

    they deserve it.

    but...

they should've given them the chance to surrender. that's what's not right. but i guess they thought if they gave them the chance to surrender then they'd have another shoot out. idk. they deserved justice... but that was just wrong.

  • those guys were killed with browning automatic rifles and not with thompsons

  • true, They EMPTIED there BARs then they EMPTIED there Shotguns then they EMPTIED there Handguns. FUCKED UP WAY TO GO.

  • блять, все перекручено ....прям драма , так им сукам и надо. Надо было снять как они не моргая глушили простых людей.

  • POOR guys

  • is it me or did bonnie get the worst of it

  • it's just you lol

  • i think bonnie got the most shots i mean she was the main one out of the door way flapping around because of all those shots

  • They didn't give them a chance to surrender?

I expected "put your hands in the air"

  • jeez, that was unexpected....no, i havent seen the movie yet.. maybe i will now ha

  • Great ending to a great film. I love the editing, and the final looks they give to each other - it's such a poignant, violent, and unforgettable scene! Classic stuff.

  • ... You know their making a sequel to this right? Hilary Duff is gonna play Bonnie. No joke.

  • remake

  • And it wouldn't suprise me if in the remake they either did the bloody ending off screen or else tacked on a happy ending, I don't think Hilary Duff's fans are old enough to handle something like that and I kind of doubt Duff has the chops to carry off a scene like this.

  • @cha5 no offense, but this ending is kind of sugarcoated, too. >__>

  • @cake34

Sorry but I don't see that, I view this ending as more poignant than sugar coated especially right at 1:26-1:27 with that last look they give each other.

  • Comment removed

  • I blame Denver Pyle & Dub Taylor.

  • to bad they both died in the car......i get the effect of the scene..showing them both die very dramatically separately as apposed to the way they both died, together seated in the car.

  • thenakedsociety-

Yeah, that's what Penn wanted: " in death they make a last futile movement to reach each other..." It is dramatized, albeit based on the true motions in death.

  • Awesome!

  • the emergence of new hollywood. brilliant.

  • that made my heart jump:/ chech out the bullet on their bodies....

  • It's still pretty graphic even by todays standards.

  • This fucked me up when I was 10, far more than the shower scene from Psycho. I'm just thankful I never flipped past The Wild Bunch by mistake...

  • When you live by the gun, be prepared to die by it...

  • amazingdany-

Yes, like Bonnie and Clyde, Ned Kelly, Jesse James...and a lot of policemen who ALSO should be prepared to die by the gun. Like when they kill our folks in Ireland! And we who never touch a gun are called terrorists.

Ever read the poem Bonnie wrote? They weren't complaining bout death, only about what got them into the mess. I think about it every now & then when I see a tank outside...Or when my mates get busted, or have "accidents" & die in custody. Mean you no harm, OK?

  • yeah i saw the movie when i was a kid too and i`ll never forget how it made me feel at the end worst endidg i had ever seen as a kid!! then i saw the car at the Dallas museum with bullet holes all in it and gosh i felt why did cops shoot someone up so bad like that i just didn`t understand

  • First movie to have such a graphic scene where you could see clothing being shredded from the bullets and the full use of squibs to depict impacting bullets. I was astounded by this movie scene.

  • @spencer51418

Only too bad that after eating like 50 bullets each of them, there's almost no blood.

  • @DictatorRoB blood didn't extist in 1967, only the true depection of death did, sorry.

  • imaStonesGirl had those texas rangers let clyde get one chance to get his B.A.R. it would have been all over, they really didn't have much of a choice Bonnie and clyde would have never let the law take them into custody, and besides they were cop killers it was only a matter of time before they were gun down.

  • OK (JohnnyBoy6282) I CAN SEE YOUR POINT AND IN A WAY I UNDERSTAND BUT THEN AGAIN bONNIE NEVER KILLED ANYBODY, IT`S JUST BAD ON BOTH SIDES

  • JohnnyBoy6282-

It has been suggested that the guns were planted in the car, just like every tabloid wanted to make them "the Bloody Barrows". IF the guns were in the car, they were out of reach anyway.

Why should that part be true? so much else is crap.

These are really serious sources - like some of the officers said they put their own guns in the car to make it look like a justified kill. I don't know. Nor do you.

  • w.e neone says bonnie and clyde were heros during the great depression. they all dealt with hardships and never took from neone but the banks and government that put them and the rest of america in the situation they were in

  • VegasKing7-

Oh yes, there are many records of people who thought they were heroes at the time. Lots of them. Folks may like it or not, but that's the way it went down.

  • astonishing scene!

  • Xerophious, they were harsh because bonnie and clyde were public enemy #1, they commited very bad crimes and deserved a body full of led!

  • They did not deserve that!! True they were wrong for the crimes but to take them out this way is messed up!!! and also coward like!! I disagree with you!!! This was OVER KILLLLLLL!!!!

And if anyone thinks this is bad you don`t know the whole true story she got shot worse than him she got bullets that were fired at her PLUS She got the bullets that passed through his driver side door and through him and on through her.

  • oh christ!

  • Yes all that bull crap and they were denied no matter the crime of a fair trial.A total violation of a constituional process just like today. Its no wonder the Police get by with the crimes they commit outside of the good cops.

  • Wow McCain and Palin got owned hard. Serves them right for spreading lies and smears.

  • Clyde didn't get out of the car, in reality.

  • Maybe, but the couple really did have a hundred rounds of bullets shot at them.

  • 1:27 !!!

  • 1:28

  • classic of all classics

  • Geez. . . Haven't those cops ever heard of hand cuffs? Police Stings sure were harsh in those days. . .

  • vigilante justice, always fun

  • lol why are people talking politics on a Bonnie and Clyde video?

  • this scene was considered grizzly in 1967..

  • I love how the ice cream in his hand just explodes.

  • I think he's eating a pear.

  • mmmm. you're right. silly me.

  • what a waste of bullets

  • I think in real life they never stopped just slowed down lol and I read something that bonnie screamed like a panther? yeah I guess you would when they opened up over 50 rounds on them...

  • lol funny

  • John McCain and Sarah Palin, getting their just desserts for running a campaign filled with hate, bigotry and fear mongering.

    Oh yeah!

  • I knew the so called "liberals" were full of shit! Lol

  • You're full of crap

  • You calling me a Republican? FUCK YOU.

  • Actually it was the LEFT filled with HATE.. "LIPSICK ON A PIG! he knew what he was saying.. Die libbys DIE annnd Bow down to the Alter of the MIGHTY OBAMA!!!

  • Lol lets see.

    terrorist - bullshit

    socialist - bullshit

    arab - bullshit

Carry on eating Rush Limbaugh's shitnuggets please.

Waaaambulance for this inbred republican SORE LOSER. Waahhahahaha

  • Actually, I will support Obama... Unlike you libs who bashed Bush every chance you got... I did not vote for OBAMA, but hope he does well... after all ...we are all in this together...

  • I believe they were both inside the vehicle as it was moving along when the lawmen opened fire.

  • EXACTLY!

  • Just finished this in my english class. Amazing.

I hate c.w.'s dad for ratting them out.

  • my name is caleb but im going by clyde now! And I like agirl named bonnie! haha bonnie and clyde!

  • Apart from the fact that it's historically inaccurate (the car was still rolling when the shooting started, and Clyde never got out), it's a good indication of how horrible their last moments were.

  • This pretty much sums up McCain and Palin's campaign.

  • almost humour

  • LMAO CLYDE WAS ROLLING!

  • can someone post the rest of the clip, where the screen goes to black and that pretty, haunting musc plays...just banjo and guitar? that's the end of the scene, and it's cut out.

  • Gunned down like dogs. They were too well-armed and the Cops weren't about to take chances.

  • It would have been awsome if they made an action movie about Bonnie and Clyde

  • They should remake this movie. OR make another movie that just like this.

  • I saw this film last night and was reminded of just how great the production was. It was one of Aurther Penn's ( Sean Penn's father ) best films.

  • Anybody reading this own a Tommy gun? I'd love to buy one, also a WW2 German Schmeisser machine pistol, like the Gestapo and SS used.

    I'm a collector.

  • A bit of overkill maybe?

  • Trigger - happy dipshits. Bonnie was hot, at least in the movie. What a great ending.

  • Now there burning in hell today..

  • This is how I imagine solving problems with problematic peoples...

  • They had to get them this way, Bonnie and Clyde were too dangerous to fuck with!

  • they faught the law and the law won.

  • I heard that because they got shot so much, they were their bodies were just like bags of blood and bones.

  • I am glad those pricks were killed like that! Bonnie and Clyde kills many people and law officers. Law Officers that had families and loved ones, and those people were killed.

Bonnie and Clyde deserved to die like that. Yeah, in this movie, Bonnie is hot, but the actual Bonnie and Clyde still deserved to die.

  • They didn´t deserve to die that way, the cops who killed them was cowards and Clyde was such a good shot and had so much guns and ammunition in the car so they couldn´t kill him with honor

  • Should they have challenged them to a duel?

  • They lit those asses up proper, closed casket for sure. I don't mean to sound like a hater but I work too hard to have love for anyone who could just come and take it all away.
