I am a veteran and I am crying as I hear this majestic organ and the vocalists sing one of our nation's beautiful songs. May God bless the United States of America, and Thank you for a wonderful video!!!
Such a patriotic song to sing in the one true city where our independance was declared as Americans! And of all places, the one place that has the largest operational pipe organ!! The Wanamaker Building! Thank you for uploading this! Truly brought tears to my eyes!!!
I wouldn't mind one bit if Congress passed a law designating "America the Beautiful" as our national anthem instead of the "Star Spangled Banner", which no one seems to be able to properly sing.
ATB celebrates all of U.S. history, not just a poem about some obscure battle on September 13-14, 1814 which was written to the tune of an 18th century English drinking song, "To Anacreon in Heaven", which had, by the standards of that era, bawdy lyrics.
Yeah, really applaud Macy's for keeping the Wanamaker, in the spirit of true American capitalism, Macy's should give Peter Conte a percentage of its royalty sales generated at the cash registers during the hours he is playing the organ.

@AshburnStadium
I could certainly second that idea. I have always thought that "America the Beautiful" should be our national anthem
